My friend and I spend 6 nights at Eco Beach Camp at Balka beach and it was fantastic. The camp, the location, the beach, the family and staff working there - everything was fantastic!||We had booked one of the large Glamping tents. It is huge (20 square meters) and nicely furnished with beds, carpet, a small bookcase, a safety box and lounge chairs outside the tent. Also, there is electricity and lights in the tent. ||The camp is placed in the beautiful sanddunes. There is everything you need, a kitchen with basic things for cooking, fridges, storage boxes for your food and a leftover box for sharing food. The bathing facilities are nice and clean, and the small cafe has a nice selection of quality food and drinks. Best of all is the fantastic deck on top of the sanddunes, we sat here every morning and most nights eating our food looking at the sea. ||Balka beach is beautiful with calm water and white soft sand. The camp is a short walk by the sea to Snogbæk, where you can find a supermarket, icecream shops and a great smokehouse. Also it is biking distance from towns such as Nexø and Svaneke. ||As an added bonus, dance and yoga instructor Nomi offerde morning workouts and yoga at the beach. In the afternoon Monday, Wednesday and Friday she offerede groove dance lessons. Her classes are full of fun and laughter! ||Eco Beach Camp has all the facilities you need and so much more. The family and staff working there make you feel very welcome, and their sense for quality and joy creates a...

The serving was quite basic with the chicken and fried potatoes and Cesar salad. |One of us is pescatarian. She got a small bowl of fried potatoes with a small portion of grilled squash on top. We were very disappointed with that serving - it was nearly insulting - and very surprising that they cannot accommodate non-meat eaters better at the camp?? Also, the contrast to the huge amounts of chicken was nearly funny. Our pescatarian had to leave the restaurant hungry…|We tried the desert, and it was delicious; however all in all it’s horribly expensive for a quite basic meal. Taking the price into consideration, I would rate 3 TripAdvisor stars for the chicken meal, and one star for the vege- / pescatarian; thus we end up with two TripAdvisor stars for...
