First Camp Bøjden Strand – Fyn — Hotel in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality

I went alone with my two children and we stayed on the camp ground in our own camping wagon.||||Camp ground:||The camp ground is in an okay location, there is a tiny beach even though I would not like to go swimming there, the water was full of sea weed, mussels and stinging jellyfish. The web site claimed there was a water trampolin, however it was not set up when we were there.||The camping spot that we got was very uneven, which meant that we could not put a glas on a table without it sliding off the table...||||Pool:||The kids loved the swimming pool, the slide was a great hit. The water is warm and smells of bleach and you cannot see the bottom of the pool. Pieces of paper were floating around in the water. You are supposed to clean the common changing room yourself, which I had to do two out of the three times we went because the floor was terribly dirty. There is only warm water in the showers if you go in the morning, in the afternoon you will only get cold water!||||Facilities:||The kitchen is cleaned once a day. When we were there people were pretty good at keeping the kitchen clean. There are microwaves but you have to collect the glass plate in the reception if you wish to use it, which is quite a walk.||The bathrooms are okay, they are pretty clean (are cleaned from 12-2pm every day) and they have a nice bathroom for small children (up to age 7). However, in the women's bathroom there is only one hand dryer and 80% of the time it does not work. Several of the toilets were clogged every morning and other peoples feces would greet you good morning.||I used the washing machine once. It did not work properly so I went to speak to the reception. I was rudely being told that I must have used it wrong and that it was my own fault if I did not know how to add soap, I just had to push the lights. I told the male owner that there were no lights and he just kept saying it was my own responsibility to use it properly. More or less in chock over being treated so badly, I went to take pictures of the missing lights and went back to show the owner. He rudely said he did not have time to deal with it now. The same evening I saw that the lights were on. The next day I went to collect balls for mini golf, when he said that the machine had been out of soap. He gave no apologies for his rude behaviour.||The minigolf is okay but too difficult for younger children. The balls often get stuck on the 7th lane so we did not get further than that...||||All in all, neither I nor my kids were impressed with this camp site, I am sure that you can get much better quality and value at a different...

We arrived at your camping site one evening, just with one little tenth, and decided to stay with you. It was the most terrible experience we ever hade, compared to all the other "normal" camping sites we stayed in. Reason n. 1: when decided to have something to eat, we would have never imagined to pay €68 for a small little buffet. Its ridiculus. 2- we hade to pay extra €20 to have electricity. But what really happens is that you even have to pay for the electricity you use. (You would think that for extra €20 electricity would come included) but no. I wouldn't mind but it was to charge a phone, not to light up a full apartment. 3- we even hade to pay the adaptor for the socket!! Its really ridiculus!! 4- having payed more than €55 we discovered that not even the toilet service was included. We even hade to pay to go to toilet and showeres also hade to be payed. The only thing thats free in that camping site are, the kilometrical walks to arrive at the toilets door! 5- €7 for 3h of WiFi ??? Come on!! Out rages! Having sayde all this I conclude by asking: what did I pay €55 for ?? In all the other camping sites we never payed more than €25 and everything was encluded! Its the worst camping site we have ever stayde in! For sure we will never come back there..after having payed more than €125 just for one night. Its a total waste...

Wir waren vom 06.06. - 12.06.2022 auf dem Campingplatz zu Besuch. Als erstes hier die Highlights. Die Sanitäranlagen sind einfach sehr schön und das warme Wasser ist auf dem gesamten Platz enthalten. Ebenfalls ist der Zustand sehr gut und auch zu jeder Zeit sehr sauber. Auch der Zustand des Platzes und den Einrichtungen waren wirklich vorbildlich. Nun die nicht so schönen Dinge. In den Küchen gab es weder Bleche noch Roste noch Mikrowellengeschirr. Dieses müsste man in der Rezeption leihen. Diese ist aber nur bis 18 Uhr geöffnet und hat eine 2 stündige Mittagspause. Bitte planen Sie also Ihre Essenzeit vor. Auch die Beschreibungen für die Nutzung der Geräte war nur auf Dänisch nicht mal auf Englisch. Des Weiteren sind die Wasserstellen sehr rar vorhanden. Ebenfalls war unser Platz sehr sehr nass. Am schlimmsten war jedoch die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Der Betreiber selbst ist in einem Affenzahn mehrmals am Tag über den Platz gerast und hat uns beinahe 2 mal überfahren. Grüßen konnte er leider nur seine Dauercamper und Dänen. Wir hatten ein wenig das Gefühl nicht gewollt zu sein. Gerade als deutsche. Dieses Gefühl bekamen wir jedoch bereits beim einchecken. Die Frau des Betreibers selbst saß an der Rezeption. Bei der Frage, ob wir eventuell den Platz wechseln können, reagierte die Dame sehr genervt. Bat uns dann auch nur Plätze an auf denen wir hätten mehr bezahlen müssen. Der Platz war in der Woche leer. Nur wir und eine Handvoll Dauercamper waren auf dem Platz. Wir hatten 4 KWh Strom inklusive den Mehrverbrauch müssen wir zusätzlich tragen. Die Kosten wurden uns jedoch erst nach erneuter Rückfrage mehr als genervt auf einem sehr schlecht zu verstehenden Englisch mitgeteilt. Bei der Abreise hätten wir noch 1 Kwh bezahlen müssen. Aufgrund der schlechten Verständigung (weder Englisch noch Deutsch) haben wir schlussendlich 28.30 Kronen bezahlt. Zahlen hätten wir 4,75 Kronen müssen. Die Dame hat oder wollte uns nicht verstehen und wir hatten keine Lust uns über 3 EUR zu streiten. Jedoch bleibt ein sehr unschöner Nachgeschmack.

Update 15.06.2022 Wir hatten einen Anfangsstand des Zählers von 46 KWH und somit bei 24 inkls. Kwh hätten wir einen Verbrauch von 70 kwH haben dürfen. Der Endstand unseres Zählers war 71 KWH (Das haben Sie selbst auf die Rechnung geschrieben) Berechnet wurden uns 28 DKK. Wenn die KWH 4,75DKK kostet, frage ich mich wo der Rest herkommt.
