A pig farm turned Country Inn. Nice and quietly located 2 km from Faxe 'downtown'.|The owners converted their farm into double bed apartments with kitchen, dinner table (seats 4), sitting area, flat screen, spacious bathroom with floor level entry into shower. So accessible for wheelchair if needed. No elevator so in that case ground level needed. Design IKEA off-white and grey matching. Small table in front of the entry door for breakie, a night cap or the smoke outside.|Shed, not locked, for your bike. Inside you can lock bike to posts.|Other option is to rent the hostel style rooms (2 beds) with own shower bath /WC and shared kitchen, common room, sitting area. Each room has its own fridge. Stayed there 2 nights as well due to change in travel plans. That area needs a little bit more cleaning. Spiderwebs on entry door etc. Rooms are spotless. |5 km from Faxe Ladeplads Beach via very quiet, well kept back country roads. Sign - posted 'Panoramarut'. Ideal for the morning run or bike to the beach, swim and return.|Grocery store /restaurants 1.5 km away Otherwise nothing nearby. BBQ and table for at least 12 people outside. Pool Not the usual business accommodation but perfect if u are self sufficient and stay for a longer period of time. Not running a around like a tiger in cage in the usual hotel rooms. Only draw back are the flies. Owner still has over a dozend horse stables and that attracts flies. At night, when watching TV they sit on TV attracted from the light.. Not only one or 5... Owner should have fly traps...

Positive:||||The place is nice, and the facilities (pool, common dining room/kitchen(s) are convenient and clean). It was a plus that we were (to a certain extent) able to charge our electric vehicle during the night. We had one of four double rooms, that are located on the upper floor of a separate building. The four rooms share a very big, comfortably equipped, common kitchen/eating area.||||Negative:||||While the stairs are comfortably low, it is still a first-floor location. People with walking difficulties (or heavy luggage) should bear this in mind. Beds are separate, single beds (but can be easily joined). The very nice flat-screen TV could have offered a couple of international, English-language news channels. Being situated under the roof, the rooms tend to get quite hot in warm weather. Our room (#4) was right next to the road, and the normal silence was sometimes disturbed by passing cars or mopeds. The charging facility was VERY low-powered, and we had to put our vehicle in a not quite permitted position to use it - but still, better...

The apartment was overall nice. Yes it was visible that I had been used before. (A few scratches here and there) It was nice that we could just use a 4 digit code as a key to enter, so there was no risk of losing a key. 😊 There was also newly washed bedsheets and towels when we arrived.

The lokation for me was fantastic, not in a big city, but not to far away either.

But. It looked like there was a little mold in the bathroom, and I think it was because it was required we closed all the windows when we were out about our day. The easy solution can be a ventilation that runs based on humidity instead.

And there were dead bugs here and there in the windows, which indicates the apartment has not recently been cleaned.
