One of the nicest campsites I've been to. Lovely modern facilities. Helle the owner is lovely and speaks (as do all the Danish people I met) excellent English. It's about a 10 minute bike ride into the local town of Gilleleje which is a really pleasant small fishing town with shops and fresh seafood restaurants. If you want to go further there is a train station about 600 metres away, although you do have to walk at the side of the road to get to it. There is a bread service but no shop. Amneties: very modern, clean, family bathrooms with shower and toilet. Shower 5 DKK for 4 minutes, water lukewarm and shower stops every 10 seconds. Kitchen available, dishwasher and grill (free to use) Washing machine 45 DKK. Around: Gilleleje nearby with harbour and restaurants. Trainstation at 10 minute walk, leaves every hour to Gilleleje. The very friendly owners bought this campsite 3 years ago, and refurnished it completely. Really impressive what they have achieved. A lot of attention for just those small details which make the difference. Clean, tidy, organised. Nice and affordable cabins too.
