Falster City Camping — Hotel in Guldborgsund Municipality

We stayed at Falster City Camping in early July, this year (2017) as we wanted somewhere that was convenient for the city center whilst not being in the busy center itself. On arrival we were given an extremely warm welcome and shown to a very pleasant Cabin on the campground. After getting settled we returned to reception and the owners, Claus and Britta, gave us many excellent suggestions for our weekend in the area, from sightseeing, places to eat and activities. All of their advice was very well informed and extremely helpful. The campsite itself is very peaceful, it was busy while we were there, but, it does not feel overcrowded, and we never had to wait to use any of the beautifully maintained amenities. From what we could see this place is perfect for all types of travelers. Whether with tents, caravans, with kids, on a motorbike, there was a wide variety of people there during our stay. I would recommend Falster City Camping to everyone, especially is you are looking for a stress free time.

The camping itself is lovely. It is situated very close to the city center of Nykøbing Falster, and the staff is very friendly. However, the cabin we stayed in (one of the smaller ones) was incredibly hot, with nothing that resembled aircondition. The window could barely be opened, and there was no way of keeping the door ajar in a safe way. The only thing hiding the beds from plain view through the massive window in the door were flimsy and somewhat ruined blinds. The toilets and showers were clean and nice, but I was unable to turn the showers on for more than thirty seconds at a time, and they came with no way of regulating the temperature. ||||That beeing said, we were quite pleased with our stay, despite the heat and the lack of privacy, and I would recommend it if you want an affordable place to live and are not too concerned...

A lovely little campsite in the city. Very helpful owners that took their cars and came to get me, my family AND our cravan when our own car had broken and was towed to a workshop. This they did around 8 pm and asked nothing in return. That is what I call service!!!! :) The camping is clean and nice with several attractions for kids. E.g fun swings, jumping pillow and two zip lines. The sanitation block was little old but very clean. The camping is near a small zoo and you can walk to Aldi or Mc Donalds. We hope that we ca visit again, without a broken car next time :) /The swedish...
