Hotel Gudenå — Hotel in Hedensted Municipality

This hotel was selected based on a low price and its location 30 minutes from Billund and Legoland. There are no people working reception at this hotel. Upon arrival, check in is accomplished using an ATM-like machine where one enters credit card information. A blank room card key is then inserted into the machine, activated, and returned. The process was quick and relatively easy. The room was simple, small, and musty. The room was equipped with a hair dryer, a shampoo/body wash, towels, instant coffee, tea, and a hot water heater. The hot water heater had apparently been used to boil water and instant coffee and was left in the room in a non-usable condition. Water from the shower spread out into the rest of the bathroom rather than going down the drain. We used a rolled up towel to make a dam that solved this problem. After the first of two nights at the hotel, we found one of our windows had been opened and the heat turned off while we were away but the room was not cleaned and no new hot water heater was provided. The price was low but we would not stay...

The place is a self-service hotel with a computer to check into. This works so bad, that the friendly Hungarian hosts helps every traveller checking in! The rooms are very nice and clean and newly built. TV and free wifi is included. The hotel faces a parking lot and a main highway (80 km/hour) with some traffic. We were here in September, but I guess during the summer, when you need to open windows and it's hot the noise can be a problem. The hotel has a small restaurant with very cheap dishes (60-100 kr.), we did not try it. The breakfast is included and is really great value: Ceriales,milk, coffee, tee, orange juice, softly boiled eggs, cheese and basic...

Vi har haft overnatning på hotellet som familiedeal "romantisk ophold for to" fra den 22/11 til 23/11-2013 og er meget utilfredse med opholdet. På værelse nr.1 gulvarme og udsugning på badeværelset fungerede ikke. I beskrivelsen af dealen stod beskrevet at man kan benytte saunaen og bestille massage under opholdet. Vi spurgte personale om det og fik svar, at den der aldrig har været en sauna. Der stod også, at man kan benytte hotellets bar i kælderen og forskellige spil der. I virkeligheden var der ingen af delene der. Til aftensmad har vi bestilt 2 glas husets hvidvin og 2 glas husets rødvin og vand til. Vi ville have vinkort men fik svar, at den er ikke opdateret. Vand fik vi slet ikke, selvom vi har bedt om x flere. For vinen har vi betalt 260kr. Vi har set på hotellets hjemmeside under menukort, at et glas af husetsvin kostede 39 kr og har fortalt om det til tjeneren næste dag, men fik svar at hjemmesidens oplysninger er for gamle og i hotellets vinkort, som vi fik at se, stod at et glas vin kostede 45 kr. Derfor mener vi, at vi har betalt for meget for vinen og fik ikke pengene refunderet. På bonen stod der kun beløb 260kr og ikke for hvad vi har betalt. Informationen omkring hotellet er meget forvirrende og svarer ikke til forventningerne. Vi kan ikke anbefale hotellet til andre og kan derfor ikke give nogen bedommelse af...
