Hotel Sleep2Night — Hotel in Helsingør Municipality

I stayed here two years ago - and at that time this hostel was advertising itself as being in copenhagen. It is not in Copenhagen, it is in Helsingor, a town about an hours train ride north of copenhagen. The town of Helsingor itself is very nice, but this "hotel" is not in the town, it's well outside of it in an industrial park type of area. Additionally, it takes about 45 minutes to walk from the Helsingor train station to the hostel.... ask me how I know.

These things aside - the hostel was clean and quiet, very simple. Their food was overpriced and the staff (at the time I stayed there) was not very helpful or understanding of the fact that they were falsely advertising themselves as being "in copenhagen".

The rooms were ok, but I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone based solely upon the fact that they blatantly and knowingly misrepresented their location. I guess some of the blame lays with me in that I did not look on a map to find the hostel before arriving in copenhagen, where I was informed by the (very helpful) people at the tourist station that, in fact, the hotel I was looking for was an hour away - even though they claimed to be "in...

I would not give this place the title "Hotel", but rather "motel". It consists out of wooden baracks which have been there for a while... The bathroom was not really inviting; the shower head old and rusty; there was no overall light in the room, only one small bed sidetable light (the second one was broken) which occupied the one sucket available around the bed. There is ony one single person manning the reception till 20.00 h; there is no restaurant but they do serve a decent breakfast. The location is practical in case you are just spending the night to continue the travel, as it is close to the main road and the ferry, but loud and too far from town if you want to visit the city. For what we got, the price was way too high. I can not...

The hotel resembles military barracks. Rooms are dark but spacious. Cars are parking next to the room door. You can expect a lot of vans around if there is no weekend.|Breakfast is fine however smoking personel just out of the terrace door makes the breakfast facilities down.|There is 3.5 km to the town and 4.5 km to the castle. Walking distance but it takes about 45 minutes.|Our room was dirty with dusty windowsill and small a piece of broken glass on the floor.
