great location, centrally located for just about anything you want to visit in Central or Southern Jutland (we even took a day trip down to Schleswig Germany, just 1.5 hours down the motorway) or on Funen. The property is a refurbished manor house dating back to 1845, very scenic. Our apartment was 4 rooms, very spacious, very comfortable - one of those rooms was a full kitchen. We did not take the breakfast (which saved us 50 DKK/person/day), instead opting to shop at the supermarket and stock the refrigerator.||The host was very friendly and gracious; he insisted we pick some apples from his orchard (they were wonderful).||The only surprise came at checkout, he doesn't take credit cards and we were trying to minimize our use of cash since it was near the end of our stay in Denmark. Read moreMy wife and myself stayed two nights. We were in an single unit that was one great room with kitchen, beds and sitting area. It was very roomy. It was ground level, with no steps. Beds were very comfortable. We could sit outside our unit and enjoy our breakfast, which was an optional extra. The breakfast basket was delivered by the host, had coffee, milk, juice, bread rolls, warm boiled eggs, meat and cheese, fruit and cereals. Kitchen had two burners, dishes, microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator and freezer. Bathroom was tiled with walkin shower. |Setting was in a mid 1800's farm complex that was converted to other purposes. Host lives in main host. It was only 5km from...
Read moreStayed at Juhls B&B because it was centrally located for attending concerts in Horsens and Odense. We were a party of four from England and we wanted a relaxed location which this certainly is. Farm building has been nicely converted into self contained apartments which were ideal for us. Breakfast was delivered by the owners in a basket each day. Most guests would self cater but we did not wanted to waste time shopping so this was good for us. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We would be happy to stay here again if we visit Denmark. Everyone was friendly and speak excellent English which made our visit perfect. The concerts by James Last were of course...
