I and my wife had a wonderful experience at Sinatur Hotel. The staff was very professional, courteous, kind. It was nice to be a weary traveler and find myself in this hotel. By the lake, quiet, peaceful, clean, outdoor restaurant seating, right next to the lake, one could not ask for more. The management is very efficient, accomodating and go above and beyond to help customers like myself. Travelling from the US, you never know what to expect in a foreign country hotel and this was a great experience. From the moment we arrived, we have been treated nicely by every member of this hotel. Their world-class service is what makes them successful in this beautiful town of Fredriksdal. There is restaurant on the property that serves a breakfast buffet every morning. Lunch and dinner are available as well. There is a paid boat service that takes you around the beautiful lake right around the corner. We had a rental car and the parking was free, Copenhagen was about a 20 minute drive from here. It gives a relief from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would recommend this hotel highly and hope that everyone enjoys it as...
Read moreThe restaurant had a very cozy, candle lit ambience. The lighting was quite poor but it may also be partly that we arrived at 6-7 and left at 8. Service was delightful with the servers being there for our questions and to serve, they where very kind polite, well dressed, and appropriate for the environment in the restaurant. Beautiful views from the seats.|| The servers had some misunderstanding probably due to miscommunications, we received 2x the starting snack, a happy mistake. One of the guests ordered two meals from the menu, being the main and the dessert, but they brought out a starter and main, the extra starter was on the house due to the mistake on their part. ||Our main server was Abagail and she was very kind and fast with delivering the food and explaining the menu for non danish speakers.||The food was very good although a small menu all the food tasted good, I would recommend the de-boned chicken with carrots and sauce with potatoes. The prices...
Read moreThe hotel located in a beautiful recreational area North of Copenhagen between 3 idyllic lakes that I Know well from having lived in Bagsværd in the 70's and 80's. It is clearly a congress hotel, but OK as a single recreational visitor. Check-in was efficient, neither warm nor the opposite, though when asking why they required to know my birthday, got a nonsense-reply (and being a privacy hawk, I gave them a close enough fake!) The room was standard, with no A/C during this very hot Summer in Denmark, so I once again was saved by my powerful travel Fan! The veranda had a nice view across one of the waterways used by sailors and boats, but load neighbors, with the woman talking non-stop took some of the serenity away! Nice warm and cold breakfast, but with no espresso machine as is common at hotel morning buffets. Free parking.|All in all an OK stay, especially since the price + a rental car still made it cheaper than staying in Copenhagen proper. I would...
