Hobro Camping — Hotel in Mariagerfjord Municipality

Hobro city camping is located in a fantastic location. Despite the ARLA Foods production in the backyard, we didn't hear any kind of noise from them. We arrived a little late (8pm) but the camping mother was friendly, ready and welcoming. We were also allowed to order breakfast, even though the deadline had been reached. We stayed in the medium-sized comfort camping cabin 20 m2, which was suitably spacious for us 2 adults and 1 child of 5 years. At check in, we were given 1x dishcloth and 1x tea towel. The cabin was nice and didn't seem too worn. There was service for 6 people, despite the fact that they recommend the cabin for a maximum of 4 people.||Distance to Hobro town fits with the indicated 10 min.'s walk, 5 min. by bike. The campsite's facilities are really nice. Huge playground with e.g. artificial ball field, bouncy cushion and play tower, etc. There is also a small play area with mooncars. Then there is a really nice swimming pool which is heated with solar cells, wild water bath and sauna. There is plenty of grill set up for those who want to grill. The common areas also seemed really nice, neat and again not too worn. All in all we had a fantastic stay and can definitely recommend this...

Camping has a fantastic view over Hobro and is very well maintained and has beautiful facilities, also for kids. So why the two stars? Because of the rudeness and unfriendliness of the owners when dealing with an issue. ||||We decided to stay an extra night and forgot to mention this to them, spend the day in Hobro and came back at around 6. The owner came towards us fuming, telling us that we occupied the space for people that reserved it. We apologized and switched places. This wasn't the end of it, owners kept being angry at us and threatened to call the police after they 'found out' that we had a 4 month old daughter that we didn't pay for (we just didn't mention her as we assumed you wouldn't have to pay for a newborn child). We were treated as criminals and not as guests. All in all a very bad experience that could have been very different if the owners had shown some respect for us as a guest or showed some basic customer...

Der Empfang ist freundlich, könnte aber zum Thema Campingplatz und was er zu bieten hat auskunftsfreudiger sein. Dafür erzählt die Frau jede Menge über Veranstaltungen in Hobro... Der sehr ruhig gelegene Campingplatz ist terrassenartig angelegt, gepflegt, weitläufig auf leicht hügeligem Gelände. Dabei sind die nummerierten Stellplätze eben, fest, teils geschottert, teils mit Gras bewachsen. Stromanschlüsse und Wasserzapfsäule sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zu den Stellplätzen für Wohnmobile gehören kleine Terrassen.

Das Sanitärgebäude ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und zweckmäßig. Wir haben ausschließlich die Familienbadezimmer mit Dusche, WC, Waschbecken, Ablagen und Sitzbank benutzt. (Equipment war ausnahmslos vorhanden). Es gibt aber auch noch diverse Toilettenkabinen, Waschkabinen und Duschkabinen. Der Koch- und Spülbereich ist modern, sehr sauber und funktionell, wobei ich mir entweder beim Check-in oder an den Spülbecken einen Hinweis gewünscht hätte, mit welchem Trick man heißes Wasser in die Spülbecken bekommt. Nein, nicht einfach Hahn aufdrehen... Hebel in die Mittelstellung bringen, nach vorne ziehen, auf einen Schalter an der Wand drücken und dann schießt heißes Wasser aus dem Hahn. Lässt man den Schalter los, fließt auch kein Wasser mehr. Dass es eine Terrasse gibt, auf der Essen serviert wird, ein Bierausschank vorhanden ist, haben wir nur durch Zufall erfahren - von unseren dänischen Nachbarn, die mit einem Augenzwinkern meinten, man wäre dort wohl lieber unter sich... Ob es stimmt? Keine Ahnung. Es gibt kostenfreies WLAN in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Rezeption. Pro Übernachtung zahlten wir für ein Wohnmobil mit zwei Personen ohne Strom 247...
