The hotel is situated on a busy one lane each way road, about 10 minutes drive from Randers city centre.|One one side of the road is the main building. This had the restaurant and some hotel rooms. On the other side of the road were about 6 apartments. We had one of these. It had a full kitchen and very large living room and steep narrow stairs on one wall which took us up to the bedroom. There were no facilities upstairs apart from the bed.|You could not hear the traffic at night due to good sounds proof Windows and we slept with the bedroom window open and hardly heard a thing all night.|Check out was 11am and the cleaner was hovering outside long before that. The room had a shower but no bath.|Plenty of free car parking right outside the door, but just as we were checking out about 10 cars full of greyhaired women arrived for lunch in the restaurant across the road. They were a bit inconsiderate with their parking.|There are plenty of hiking trails and a meandering river very close to the hotel. Also, keep your eyes open for a delicious and very popular bakery just before the first traffic lights on your...
Read moreWe were there early december of last year together with our good friends.||Although we have been living in the area for more than 10 years we have never been aware of this unique old Privileged Inn. ||So after having paid a vist to the local Randers Museum we went to have lunch at the inn which is located only about 10 kilometers outside of Randers up "Gudenåen".||Parking is easy at the inn.||Inside the atmosphere is pleasant and friendly.||We had a light lunch . The three of us chose the home smoked salmon with a variety of fresh herbs while the fourth of us chose two pcs. of open sandwich. All dishes were plenty and delicately presented. The service was very professional, efficient and knowledgeable - as an example he presented us for the inns exclusive beer "Fladbro's Own Blond" a very delicate ale brewed by Randers Brewery using as a gimmick a bit of wild growing hops from the inns own garden. ||We can strongly recommend this place for eating...

This also meant that most of the amenities also did not work, but luckily I had a light in the bathroom! The staff were apologetic, but I think they should be reachable at night. If you run the hotel you have to be available for your guests even though it’s late. I also tried calling in the morning at 8:30 am, but nobody picked up again, so I can’t...
