We spent a week in this vacation park in the beginning of September. I didn’t expect much because of all the “Karen reviews “ but we actually liked it. Of course the place is more for families with kids from baby till maybe 8 years old. There is nothing to do with teenagers (I guess you should stop going to vacation parks with teenagers). Our daughter is 5 years old and she loved everything. First the house and park itself (we had the basic 4 person house). All the houses are made in minimalistic Scandinavian design. The landscape around is continuation of dunes landscape by the sea, so yes, no trees - didn’t bother me. The park is new, so house inside is clean and new. We had fun in Aquadome, although I can imagine during the season it can be very crowded. There are areas for all the ages, outdoor pool and pool with waves. I enjoyed outdoor pool even with +16 and raining outside, the water is super warm. Waves were working often and for quite a long time, daughter even got tired from them so we had to go out. The best thing for us was Monky Tonky indoor playground. Daughter could spend half a day there on her own, while me and my husband are reading books and having cocktails in the bar next to it. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Overall atmosphere is relaxed, so I don’t have anything negative to say. Plus there are some other things to see around: Legoland in 1 hour 20 minutes drive, big ostrich farm, lighthouse and aquarium where kids can touch and feed fish. Big supermarket and shopping street with outdoor playground is across the road from the main building - very kids-friendly, you go shopping- husband stays with the kids at the playground:) Before that we went to Landal parks in The Netherlands and Germany, and I have to say this Lalandia was much better. Of course you have to be prepared to overpriced restaurants and mini markets in the park itself - always the case. But as I said, there is also supermarket and other cafes and restaurants...

We recently visited the new Lalandia aquapark, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the accommodation was lovely—beautiful, clean, and fully equipped cottages—the aquapark itself was a disappointment, especially compared to Lalandia in Billund or Rødby.
The interior design lacked warmth and appeal. It felt sterile, with very few colors or greenery to create a pleasant or relaxing atmosphere. The decor was unappealing and uninspiring.
The outdoor jacuzzis were another letdown. The water wasn’t warm enough, and the lack of bubbles in both jacuzzis was quite disappointing. There was only one sauna available—it was large and well-designed, but having just one type of sauna in an aquapark of this size is simply not enough. And how can there be no hairdryers? It’s an aquapark; everyone leaves with wet hair!
As for attractions, the options were underwhelming. There wasn’t much to explore, and there were limited places to pause or relax. No spaces for jackets, not enough benches to sit on—basic facilities seemed overlooked. While the toilets were clean, the lack of cozy, welcoming areas made the whole experience less enjoyable.
There were a few positives. The SkyRider is an amazing attraction, and the shop was well-stocked with reasonably priced items. The large kids’ arcade and Monkey Tonkey play area were also highlights. However, even with these, the overall number of attractions and available space inside the building felt insufficient. It lacked the “hygge” atmosphere one would expect from such a place.
Considering that this Lalandia is only two years old, it was a big disappointment for both adults and kids. We had hoped for a much...
Read moreread the reviews while standing inside lalandia, because we were getting ready to go inside the aquapark, and i have to say i was quite dissapointed while reading the reviews about the aquapark. with 0 expectations, we went in the aquapark, and the first thing about the dressing rooms (atleast for women) were alright, they have a good lock system and the showers have soap for you. also about the showers - take shampoo and conditioner! your hair will be very dead, stiff and dry from all the chemicals in the water. do not forget to take them. about the aquapark itself - i had low expectations due to the reviews, but to be fair it wasnt that bad. they have this one huge tube for 4 people and we went to it alot. there was also some race for 3, two normal tubes, a kids park with tubes, surf place (i didnt like it, it was very easy to fall over and get bruises and get hurt), two baby parks, a sea kind of place where every ~15 min. they turn on waves, jacuzzi, outside jacuzzi, sauna and some very very expensive inside cafe (i reccomend taking your own food because the prices are crazy). overall if you are alone or dont have kids, this place is not for you. its all targeted for kids and lalandia itself has many attractions for kids (and for very expensive prices). would i go again? no, because it was a bit of a waste of money, as the aquapark itself cost us about 300+ eur for around 6h. there are definetly much much better places than this one, but if you live close, maybe its worth it, but...
