Before our trip to Copenhagen, we were writing to the Living Suites back & forth. They were very assuring & accommodating. They provided us with a lot of information and suggestions on places to visit and the restaurants to try. ||||From the exterior, it looks more like a 3-level Office. Our big taxi which an airport officer helped us to call (thank you) was driven by an amazing driver (thank you), alighted us at the porch of the apartment. The driver helped with our luggage and 5 of us pulled them into the lobby, which was very simple and basic. The main office is visible. ||||We waited for the time to check-in as we arrived early. My friend’s level 1 corner unit came first. They had a 2-bedroom apartment, she brought 2 boys. It was very spacious, functional and everything we needed we got them all. The kitchenette was fully equipped, oven, stove & a dish-washer. Hey, even salt & pepper, baking trays! We had dinner, all 5 of us, in the living area. The balcony was spacious, it was cold outside but the air was so fresh, we left it opened. A while later, we had our unit on the 3rd level. My son & I had the XL Suite. So spacious again. ||||The basement level consists of the laundromat with a few washers and dryers (separate), an iron & the iron board. The scan key disc was used to lock & unlock the doors to our rooms was very advanced. Just scan it at the washer and pay the charges accordingly at check-out. That included usage of the dryer. It was economical. The central kitchen is next to the laundry room, billiard table and sofa area for reading. Very comfortable. ||||There are 2 supermarkets opposite the apartment. The best is the hotdog kiosk! We loved it, even dreamed of it back home now. It only opened around 11am. There is a stretch of shops, so convenient. The supermarkets sell good seafoods, esp Meny! Their fresh scallops were so good & reasonably priced. We bought them daily & cooked in my friend’s apartment. Behind the supermarket, there is a Miyama restaurant, Japanese cuisine (take the stairs down). At Nærum Hovedgade, about 12-15 minutes slow walk, the Le Deux restaurant is good. We had dinner here. ||||Not far, about 8 minutes walk, there was a bus stop that we took a bus for sightseeing. Please get the maps & check with the admin staff whenever you plan to have a walk around the area or visit some attractions. Going by buses or subways will be cheaper. ||||The quiet but convenient environment plus the property itself would definitely draw us back again to the Living Suites of Nærum if we visit Copenhagen next time. We had a really good time in Copenhagen, company is one thing, comfort of...
Read moreThe room was modern and clean. I travel as a family with one child. It has enough place to sleep but not enough place to sit down to eat if you are more than 2 people. I can see they pay so much attention to detail and design with kitchenette and lots of storage, built in bed turning into couch etc. Idea is great but my problem was 1. bathroom was too small, everything was totally wet after taking a careful shower 2. there is a full kitchen but without dish washer 3. not enough place for more than two people to sit down to have some snack or food except balcony (this could work in summer though). anyway it was a great stay while visiting Copenhagen. Thinking of the fact that it is outside of the city, I expect to have more room but still it was quite smaller side. Overall it was clean, nice and practical. if you stay longer it could be nicer because it has laundry room and even game room down stairs. also separate kitchen if you cook more serious stuff. The service was seamless without any contact with hotel staff. when I arrived late, there was pin code to get in to pick up the key, checking out was just to drop...
Read moreThe location is really convenient if you are driving and it is less than 30 minutes from Copenhagen airport. Driving to Copenhagen city centre only takes about 15 minutes and the location provides easy access to the northern part of Sjaelland.||This is our second time staying in Living Suites - we enjoyed the studio feel of the rooms, especially the kitchen where you can keep your food refrigerated and the big balcony (whenever it’s sunny). ||Based on both experiences we experienced a lack of frequent cleaning. For both stays we where there for more than 7+ nights and had our room cleaned once for the entire length of the trip. This is disappointing as you want to arrive to the room expecting that the bed sheets would have been changed or have had new towels. We understand we stayed during the festive season. However, we were not informed that the office hours had changed upon our arrival. Otherwise we could have asked for new towels and for the room to be cleaned. ||Overall it was a nice stay! It is a comfortable and a quiet place with fantastic facilities to be enjoyed and excellent near...
