We were staying at a nearby B&B on May 12th and the restaurant at this hotel was recommended to us for dinner. We had mixed feelings about it when we were done eating, and I'll explain below.
The location is nice and inside the restaurant is charming. Like eating at an old farm home.
The servers were very helpful, but hot very good at speaking English so we struggled a little to figure out what to order for dinner. That's where our biggest problem occurred.
My wife wanted to find out if the pork dish she was going to order was "low-fat" and "not chewy". The waiter said it was both, and that her dish was a Danish favorite, so my wife ordered that, while ordered at chicken dish.

There is an extensive collection of old advertising enamelled placards etc, adding a nostalgic note. A two-storey wing of bedrooms with en-suite facilities has been added, providing clean, comfortable, well-furnished rooms. Breakfast offered a wide selection of cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, jams, with tea and coffee ad lib. It was a short drive to Billund airport...
Read moreThis is a very nice inn. It is situated in a small village between Silkeborg and Aarhus - close to both far enough away from both.||The inn itself is fairly old, but the rooms are recent and up-to-date. But don't expect international 4-star rooms.||The rooms are nice and clean - nothing fancy but fine.||The restaurant has a fine menu with "ordinary" danish dishes. Don't expect Frech or New-Nordic. This is down to earth solid danish food.||Breakfast has everything you need - eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, cold cuts, cheeses, marmelades, coffee, tee, juices.||Call the inn directly for...
