good value for the money 💵 plenty of well tasting food 🥩 🐟 and nice wine 🍷 the "expensive" room has a spa 🛀 with just about room for 2 👫 the service is friendly, thoughtful and calm 👨‍🍳 it's not a fancy hotel - far from - it's a bit kitsch "inn" - that's part of the charm ♥.. on the minus side is the bed 🛏 very soft and pillow is small - but was only a problem for me (a little giant), also a few misses on the cleaning 🧹 .. but 5 small stars.. will go there again...

I arived late at night, but the reception was still open. I called in advance I got all information I needed to get in, even after the reception had closed. Lovely room, good space and a wonderful 4 poster bed - great sleep quality. Breakfast was very tasteful, but not great variety, and could have more vegetables. But fresh and really good. All staff was very helpful and friendly. Easy parking...

Højslev kro is a country-side Inn in the best Danish tradition. It has a lot of stairs, small hallways and small rooms and that is a part of its charm. It is cozy, and the hosts are very friendly - I felt right at home and slept like a log. The menu-card has many courses that I would really like to try. I will come back...
