Hotel Skivehus — Hotel in Skive Municipality

3 star hotel conveniently located in an intersection a few hundred yards from the walking street. Next door is a little Italian restaurant as well as a McDonald's. Parking is free once you register you car in the reception. Rooms on the first floor are small and dated, narrow single beds in a small room with a small bathroom. Rooms with uneven numbers face the busy road where you can expect some noice. Wifi is free and breakfast is included. Breakfast offers a nice variety with both some hot dishes as well as fruits, bread and even a section for people with allergies. Please note that reception closes at 8 in weekends leaving guests to enter on their own via a two step process. First step, a code that opens the outside side, second step is opening the inner door with your room key, it that fails you have to call a number to get help. For me that didn't work and I had to wake up another guest to get in making it very inconvenient. Breakfast is positive, rooms, noice and lack of ability to acces the hotel in the evening...

A smallish simple hotel in a smallish simple Danish town. Nothing grand but clean and well located. It has nothing really to fault about it but it is not exiting either. They write that it has been recently refurbished but the room I stayed in was not anything special and did not 'feel' refurbished. The lift works but it is quite old and dated.||The hotel has no extra facilities besides for the bedrooms and a breakfast room.||Staff are friendly and accommodating but I cannot say that anyone goes out of their way to help. I struggle a little with my mobility but nobody offered to help with my bags not when I came or when I left in spite of having half a dozen steps in the front.||Front desk is not manned...

Nothing really to complain or praise about. Its well located but sleeping on the roadside means you'll hear all the cars running about if you leave you window open (also theres 2 gas stations near the hotel). The room was nice and clean and there's everything you need. Next door is a nice steakhouse and then McD's. Thes only one small and slow elevator. The staffs were not friendly but not rude either, said good morning to an older lady at the reception and she said good morning back while still looking at her computer without a smile. Thats all I can remember about this hotel. But do visit the steakhouse next door, the waitress gave plenty of smiles and...
