Bottom line: Greatest hotel experience I've ever had!
I participated in a 3 day intensive course. Coming from abroad, I had to book an additional two nights. I arrived very late so the reception was no longer occupied. Calling the phone number on the desk, I was immediately instructed by a friendly woman to the box outside, with a key to my room and a welcoming message. I was also instructed to speak with the chef about my special diet. The chef - a young and happy, and later I would also learn, extremely creative and talented girl - offered to prepare a meal for me after the long travel. I refused (too tired) but the offer itself was beyond nice and considerate. This warm atmosphere lasted until the last moment of my stay.
Regarding the location: The hotel is located between a small town (village?), a beach and a big forest. If you like nature, you would definitely profit from visiting the forest, which is rich in different plants and different sorts of (not scared of human) animals. I warmly recommend everybody who has several spare days to book a vacation in this hotel. I also hope I will have the...
Read moreThe hotel is in a great location, on the water and close to Stevns Klint and provides you with free bike rental - which is wonderful. The person that checked me into my room was fantastic, very nice - she is the only reason I am giving this place three stars. She was nice and helpful. The other ladies - wow. How disappointing their attitudes were. Upon checking in I was told breakfast is from 8-10 and where it was located. There was no mention that it wasn't included or that it would cost an extra $78 USD. WHICH IS OUTRAGEOUS. So I went the next morning and on my way back to my room was attacked by the person at the desk stating that I didn't pay for it and it is extra and I can't do that - it's ok though, cause she can add it (which it wasn't as I did not budget an extra $78 USD for a breakfast. I would never do that. That is more than my accommodations for the next two nights!!). It was clean and the heated floors were nice but I would never stay here again. That charge was snuck in and I did not appreciate it. I should have been told up front that it was extra and not been given the impression that it...
Read moreWe stayed one night at Hotel Klinten and were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went — especially the self-check-in system. We received a code for a small outdoor safe upon making our reservation, and inside was an envelope with our key and instructions. While we were initially skeptical, the process was seamless and well-organized.||Parking was very easy, with ample space available on-site. Our room was clean and bright, and we especially loved having a patio, which added to the relaxing, coastal feel of the property.||The location is quiet and peaceful, with easy walking access to the town center and beautiful coastal paths. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind.||Breakfast was decent — a variety of hot and cold options, though not particularly memorable. Still, it was enough to start the day off well.||Overall, Hotel Klinten offers a comfortable and peaceful stay with thoughtful touches and a great location. We’d...
