BnB Thuroe — Hotel in Svendborg Municipality

This Bed and Breakfast on the island of Thurø was absolutely perfect. Set in a gorgeous location for a very reasonable price. The apartment is an annex of the family home and includes a double bedroom, hall with refrigerator and bathroom with shower. Breakfast was provided daily to the room and included meat, cheese, juice, yoghurt, jam and freshly baked bread rolls.||||The owners were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much hassle. When we arrived they asked if we knew what we would like to explore around Svendborg and Thurø and gave us many helpful suggestions and provided maps and tourism leaflets. They let us use their garden and pick fresh fruit from their trees. They even gave us a lift into Svendborg when they were heading that way.||||I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. It was by far the best place we stayed whilst travelling around Denmark. If the owners read this, thank you so much for a lovely experience.||||A note to visitors to Thurø - the last bus to the island from Svendborg leaves at around 18:00 - we were caught out by this and ended up getting a taxi from Svendborg train station!
