My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for one night after having watched the starlings murmurate (recommend it if you're in the area at the right time of year)||||I'll start by praising the staff of the hotel - I think they were the owners. They were really polite and nice and we were told on arrival that we could still get something to eat even though it was late. The hotel also has whimsical old furniture - we were in a room with a princess bed in white and gold carved wood with pink upholstery.||||However, the hotel has a very musty and dilapidated feel to it. The towels in our bathroom felt like they had come out of someone's summer house. They were all kinds of colours and a bit frayed - not that it matters but it all adds up to make you feel like you are not really staying in a hotel but with your Great Aunt Edith in the country. If you like that vibe, this hotel is for you.||||Our TV kept changing its mind as to whether it was in colour or black/white. And our bed was coming apart a little so that there was a gap between the frame and the mattress. The sheets were clean.||||We didn't have time for breakfast, but the buffet and many pots of coffee looked inviting. We will not be coming back. This hotel was just a tad too shabby...

The apartment type rooms were not renovated or cleaned properly and they are also not part of the main building. A very tiny playground for kids with one trampoline. There is a swimming pool but it's more of a death trap for kids as its 1.5 meters deep and it's not allowed for the guests to use it and there is a thin wire around the pool to stop kids from going near it but it's not nearly enough to stop them. It's very quite and relaxing. We got the room with the window to the road so when you open the window as it gets warm in the night, you can hear traffic even though there isn't much traffic. I assume that rooms with the windows towards hotel garden...
Read moreWe had a pleasant 2-day stay at this charming inn, which is located in the heart of town. When I booked, I mentioned that I was traveling with my elderly aunt. They accommodated us beautifully in a very comfortable, spacious 2-bedroom first floor apartment, complete with full kitchen and large bathroom. Our rooms were located off the street, so we enjoyed a quiet sleep each night. Our tasty breakfasts always included freshly baked bread and delicious pastries; our dinner was delicious. The staff at Bredebro Kro are kind, attentive and professional. I highly...
