Egebjerggaard Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Varde Municipality

I stayed 6 nights visiting a relative who lives locally but unable to accommodate, and being self-employed I also wanted a quiet place to work with internet access, and all my needs have been met.||||The main building consists of large shared kitchen with four rooms leading from it with their own private bathrooms. The kitchen is extremely well fitted out with all the facilities and goods you could ever need. Everywhere in the property is clean - it has a minimal style but very tasteful and not clinical. The grounds are well maintained, lots of green space, and very peaceful. If you're looking to duck out of the rat race for a while...this place will suit you down to the ground. There are a couple of larger self-contained units for families.||||There are a couple of things to consider...being out of town, you may feel a little restricted if you don't have a car - a round trip to Varde town centre by taxi will cost you around DKr400 - you have been warned. There is a train station about half a mile up the road, and a mini supermarket about half a mile beyond that (I may exaggerate) but being an old overweight woman, both are an uncomfortable distance away for me. Never fear, you won't starve, JustEat saved me from starvation when I depleted my food stock and it did not cost the earth, brought right to the door.||||Another big asset this place has is Carsten, the owner. After some emailing prior to my visit he was kind enough to offer to collect me from the airport, and having not flown to Billund before, it wiped out a lot of stress (and expense). Now I'm not pimping him out as a chauffeur, but my point was he was very approachable, helpful and it is obvious he does his very best to make every visitor feel looked after, down to the welcome sign on your room door.|||| A lovely lovely...

After a full and busy day with a visit to Legoland at Billund we were very happy to find this beautiful place all clean and tidy and totally quiet after only 30 minutes driving. The guest kitchen / sitting room area is well equipped - no wishes left open. When going for a walk to calm down the birds were singing beautifully in the evening. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of space in our room. Great place to rest and relax at...

It's fine that the owner speaks english very well. He explained everything we needed to know about the room and kitchen. The room is quiet big, even there is also a bunk bed besides the regular bed.
