For the price I was incredibly disappointed with the rooms. The bathroom smelled awful, as if something was wrong with the plumbing system and since the door to the bathroom was open the entire room smelled like this. There’s a fridge in the room which was turned off, which is totally fine but not giving you the option to turn it on isn’t. it was plugged out with no possibilities of plugging it back in. There are no proper lights in the room except for smaller lamps, so it’s impossible to get proper lighting after sunset. The beds were tiny and I kept falling into the crack between the two beds. One larger bed would’ve been much nicer. On the positives the location is absolutely perfect. No view from the rooms but whenever you do go out you’re surrounded by truly gorgeous scenes. The breakfast was quite good, although looking at it with sustainable eyes a lot will be thrown out for each person, as there’s no buffet and you don’t get to...
Read moreWe stayed two nights and it was a very nice experience. The rooms are nice with a spacious feeling. Nice nordic decoration and mostly white and blue colours. Every room has a small patio outside with a table and chairs. The night we arrived the restaurant was full so we couldn't eat there. I recommend that you book a table to be sure that you get one. We walked to the nearest restutant and it was 40 minutes on the beach in a fairly good tempo. The next night we booked a table and ate at Hanne Mölle Å. The food was good, but not spectacular. The wines selected to the dishes were very complimentary of the food. The breakfast was good. It is not the biggest breakfastbuffe, but carefully prepared. The only negative thing about the hotel is the location, the guests are expexted to travel by car I suppose, because it is hard to get to otherwise. There is no entertainment of any kind, so the experience becomes as fun as you...
Read moreWe took visiting family for lunch and loved the setting of the restaurant. It was nice to have the beautiful beach and estuary so close for a walk afterwards. The menu was very small and typically Danish which was fine because we wanted our guests to sample traditional fare. I'm not sure if the slice of white bread in the Shooting Star/ ||Stjerneskud dish was a traditional inclusion - it ended up being a little sad and soggy, buried underneath all of the toppings. No vegetarian options unfortunately so one of our party only had chips for lunch (the chips were delicious however). Nice wine list but unfortunately only a couple of wines were available by the glass and it wasn't possible to taste the other wines without buying a whole bottle. Service was friendly but because we were the only ones dining, we felt the restaurant lacked a little atmosphere - some background music...
