Billund Farm Holiday — Hotel in Vejle Municipality

hosts were lovely, she greeted us when we pulled into parking lot and took my 5 year old by the hand to show him the apartment :)|- Very informal and warm atmosphere|- Studio was small but clean and had everything you need|- Kitchen fully equipped (although I recommend they replace the toaster, we didn't use it because it looked very old and not clean)|- If you or your kids enjoy animals, great place to stay |- Cats and dogs greeted us at our door several days and would come right in if we had the door cracked open. We don't mind because we are animal lovers and the kids thought it was great |- If you are going to Legoland and have a car, it is an excellent option. This place is very peaceful, it has many lovely farm animals, including very friendly dogs, a big playground for children, beautiful trees (both with fruits and with beautifully smelling flowers) and very comfortable cabins with a small but well-equipped kitchen corner. The host was very welcoming and speaking perfect English. The WiFi connection worked perfectly inside the cabins. You can either bring your own bed linen and towels or rent them on place. The cars can be parked just near the cabins, which is a bonus when you have to carry luggage. Legoland Billund is very near by car and it is also a wonderful experience for families with children (practically no queues at the end of June). Jelling, the Viking town, is also at about half hour drive and for those fans of Bluetooth, you can see where the legendary Viking king, Harald...

Ringrazio Trip Advisor che ci dà sempre la possibilità, attraverso foto e commenti vari dei più disparati viaggiatori,..di renderci conto, al momento della prenotazione, della struttura con la quale avremo a che fare e del fatto che non si rimanga delusi mai : anzi !! Abbiamo soggiornato in due in una camera doppia (che aveva anche un altro lettino ) con specchio grande e finestra sul bel verde. Il letto ed i piumoni sono di una comodità disarmante! Le lenzuola o si portano da casa o si pagano all'arrivo (ma una cosa irrisoria). La casetta aveva un confortevole soggiorno con tv e divanetti vari e una zona pranzo (senza cucina) con frigo, bollitore, occorrente tea e caffè, tavolo e sedie, uno scaffale con tazze, piattini e posate e un mobiletto pieno di giochi da tavolo!! Questa casetta ospitava in tutto 4 camere da letto. L'unico neo: un solo bagno. Ma la cosa si supera facilmente!! Bagno dotato di lavabo, water, finestra e grande doccia. Molto carino e pulito. Acqua potabile. Sotto alla casina i signori proprietari, Thomas e Suzanne: gentilissimi e disponibili! Avevo bisogno del phon e non hanno esitato a prestarmelo! Ci sono anche altre soluzioni dotate di bagno e cucina, ma non erano disponibili al momento della nostra prenotazione. Legoland è a 5 km. L'abbiamo raggiunta con il taxi (circa 130 corone), in autobus (119 a 11 corone) e con le bici affittate da Thomas (5 corone a bici al giorno). Per l'autobus bisogna dirigersi verso la strada principale, mettersi sull'altro lato della strada e fare un cenno al bus (si entra davanti ed il biglietto si fa sul bus). Riguardo le bici, chiedere a Suzanne..che vi indicherà la strada da fare per evitare quelle riservate alle sole macchine. Tutto fattibilissimo : io l'ho fatto con un bambino di 8 anni. A noi non sono bastati 4 gg per goderci veramente tutto. Legoland è una meraviglia. Non è solo per bambini. E' per collezionisti e per amanti delle passioni. Rimarrete a bocca aperta. La fattoria è immersa nel verde, ci sono tanti giochi per i bambini con le altalene, le porte per il calcio, e tanti altri giochi all'aperto danesi. Ci sono poi i campi con gli animali: struzzi, cavalli, mucche, etc. C'è una zona barbecue all'aperto..con più di qualche tavolo a disposizione. I bambini si divertiranno tantissimo e avranno dispiacere ad andarsene. L'aeroporto è a 5 km, a fianco di Legoland. Tutto a portata di mano. Ve lo consiglio se queste sono le qualità che...
