I stayed in Fårup Sø camping with my boyfriend in August 2012, for 5 days and it was my first camping experience!||||The camping is situated in the very peaceful and silent danish country, but you can reach the nice cities of Jelling, Vejle and Billund in few minutes by car.|| ||The place was enchanting and we had luck to place the tent near the beach, so we joined a fantastic view on the lake and on the drakkar!||||Showers, toilets and kitchen were very clean and warm.||There are also a lot of facilities for children.||||The owners have been very kind with us, gave us a lot of information on what to see and when we forgot home the plug for electricity, they lent us one for free (in other camping you have to buy it...). There is a small supermarket with daily fresh bread near the reception.||You can also buy here the ticket for Legoland Billund and spare time!||||In the future I will come back for sure in this...
Read moreOk so listen. Me and my friend was looking forward to swimming in the pool that they had advertised. 26 degrees they said. When we came, we realized that the pool was just 1.31 meters deep, and when we stepped foot in; it was freezing! They wrote 26, but this is more like 18. We went to use the slide, only to realize that the tiny bit of water that they had given the slide, was going the wrong way, so that it didn’t even hit the slide. My friend and I went to the jacuzzi to warm up, but it was even colder than the pool! I have never been in a colder jacuzzi before, and I really hope that I won’t ever in my entire life. Very disappointing pool area, and the playground wasn’t much better. With just one trampoline (not including the big airbag), a boring zip line and a few minor things, this camping area was totally lacking in good...
Read moreThe location makes the stay good. We were there with my family in a caravan. We booked in advance and choose a place at the lake. The so-called Gold places, were way too small for the €73/night we paid. On numerous occasions we had neighbours parking the caravan, camper van or tent too close for comfort. The facilities are ok-ish. They're cleaned twice a day. Showers are accessible with a pass that you get when you check in. What we didn't know is that we had to pay for showering on top of the ~7000dkk for the stay. The swimming pool is not big, but sufficient for a quick refreshing swim. Diving isn't possible, since it's only between 1.3m and 1.4m deep.|| It's very close to Zootopia Safari Park, Legoland obviously and other things to see. We enjoyed our stay, but would book this camping again. Way too overpriced for...
