Haraldskær Sinatur Hotel & Konference — Hotel in Vejle Municipality

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night as part of a trip to Lego House and Jelling. It’s a perfect location - close to both attractions and set in a peaceful, natural area.||Room - we booked a family suite which had a king size bed, plus a bunk bed for the children. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The only slight negative is that we didn’t find the kind bed mattress particularly comfortable. The bathroom was nice and very clean.||We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and our meal was delicious. There is one set menu and you choose how many courses you would like. It was good value for money and I love the fact that the hotel is minimising waste by only offering a limited selection of food. ||Breakfast is included in the room rate and was lovely. There was a selection of eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, bread, cured meats, cheese etc, as well as juices and tea/coffee etc.||I would definitely...

We chose the Haraldskær as a stopover from Billund to Copenhagen after visiting the Lego House. We'd read about the room size and bed comfort, but we were willing to give it a try as the property was appealing. ||We reserved a Double Room with an Extra Bed as we were traveling with our 11-year old. Although it was tight, we didn't feel cramped as there was plenty of space around the property to relax. The bed was firm and comfortable for me. ||I will say the property and staff are the alure. The staff was very welcoming, great hospitality. The breakfast was amazing with various breads and cheeses, fresh yogurt, hot options (eggs, bacon, sausage, ..), gluten-free options as well. We later took a path that circled the property (a fraction of what's available) for some amazing views. There's even bicycles available for rent. ||Overall a great experience and reasonable price. The place is absolutely stunning but it is in the middle of nowhere, which is not convenient at all since the restaurant had ridiculous prices for very small and not very tasty portions of food. I was expecting better, especially given the high quality of the breakfast. And flies everywhere, all the time! Really annoying when eating. Staff is really friendly though! No blackout blinds in the rooms so you wake up at 4 in the morning. I asked for a sleeping mask but they didn’t have any - some room for improvement there...
