Munkebjerg Hotel — Hotel in Vejle Municipality

Beautiful Danish hotel in a great location. Stunning view from the hotel's and Treetop restaurants. Rooms are facing the woods, which gives relaxing atmosphere. Room was clean, spacious and we had all we needed (no mini bar or fridge though). There's also 3 hiking trails going around, if you are up for jogging or going for a beautiful walk in a forest.

This hotel might be worth to try just for breakfast! It has one of the best breakfasts I have tried in Denmark. They choose to do as much as possible home-made. Lots of variety: cold and warm dishes. Lots of seating areas and breakfast tables are filled all the time.

We had 5 course dinner at hotel's restaurant. No complaints 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 They also offer wine meniu, if you wish, or else ask the friendly staff and they will help you choosing the best wine to your dish. The staff was really sweet and caring - perfect service. Surprisingly big portions for 5 course meniu, wow!

The spa area was clean and nice. 2 jacuzzi's, steam sauna, swimming pool and separate saunas for men and women in changing rooms. The hotel also has a gym. Plenty of cardio machines, some strength training machines. You totally have everything for a quick hotel workout.

They are pet-friendly, too.!

The location with wiev on the water, and into Vejle City, its. Beautyfull. The rooms are okay, and some of the rooms have no wiev over the water, but on the p-place for the cars.. The service and food in Restaurant Tree - Top is one of the best thing i have tryed, the are one of the best in Danmark to what they do. Restaurant Panorama is okay, the food is tasting well and the service is both funny and very good. Restaurant Jackpot, the restaurant in the Casino, is more like Cafe Food.. Burger, Club Sandiwich, Cæsar Salad, and you know.. The waiters in there are quickly, know what they do.. But people in here dont use lang time for the dinner, they are the to get some food, and play casino. The hotel are a nice place to be. With the Reception they have a Lobbybar, good place for a Cafélait, PiñaColarda, good glas of wine, whisky on the rocks, drinks og what you like. God start within dinner with a Coffee and cake, and aften dinner with maybe Coffee or a drink. But.. For the price.. Use Restaurant Tree Top, and select 5/7 courves.. They will ask you to tru the winemenu for the food... Remember, they are some of the best in Danmark to what they do.. So if you dont like wine, ok, say no, but...

This hotel is dated to say the least. If you like red brick walls and 70s style you will enjoy it, but it reminded me of Skejby Hospital in Aarhus. The rooms are of eastern european standard. The bathrooms are okay, not modern in any way but okay. |The receptionist at check-in wasn’t exactly friendly either.||The worst thing was the loud noise of a vacuum cleaner banging into furniture at 0615 in the morning. Our last chance to sleep in in a long time. Tried to talk to the receptionist about it, but only got a blank stare in return - no compensation what so ever. |They could have vacuumed the carpet outside the pool area instead, it needed it more and wouldn’t wake up guests.||No shampoo or conditioner in the pool showers either, just a cheap "Tork" plastic container with some sort of multi purpose soap.||Very disappointing, annoying and unprofessional. The only good thing was the breakfast (compared to Scandic), but all in all this is a two star and not...
