We stayed at this camping for two nights with our two year old girl and although the cabin we stayed in was pretty small, we had everything we needed. We stayed at a one room cabin up to four people, enough for us since we were three. It's quite comfortable although we had to buy some basic things since we didn't have them (toilet paper, for example - this should be included...). It's very basic but enough for two nights. However, if you are planning to stay longer, book a bigger cabin or stay at another camping since the space is quite small. There is a small shop in the camping where you can buy the basic, but it's very expensive. The nearest supermarket is 5km far away from the camping and it's much cheaper. There is also a restaurant inside the camping, perfect for a dinner or a lunch. However, on week days they close at 7.30pm or 8pm since there are not too many people, it's a good option for a weekend. The waiters are very kind!! The camping has many amenities for children, it's perfect for them since there is a play area. There is also a private lake inside the camping and children or even adults can also enjoy since there is a big slide. You can order bread at the reception desk the day before, staff is kind. You can also rent a bike at the reception desk for 85 krone per day. I would reccomend it since it's very close to Billund and Legoland and specially, if you are travelling...
Read moreWe arrived around 2 a.m., as planned. I had called in advance to confirm, and I was told the keys would be waiting in an envelope on the table outside the reception. There was nothing there.
I called the number several times – no answer. Finally, after a break, someone picked up on the fourth attempt and came over. The lady who showed up was extremely rude and claimed there was no reservation for us – period. I explained that I had confirmed it by phone. Only after I showed her the confirmation email did she admit, “Oh, yes, there it is.” No apology, no warmth – just cold attitude.
The cabin we got (one of the most expensive options) was dirty. The mattresses smelled like vomit, there was dust and grime everywhere, and I had to scrub the shower myself using Domestos because it was so filthy.
But what really ruined the whole experience was the owner’s behavior – completely unprofessional and hostile. Her attitude left the worst impression of all and made what should’ve been a relaxing stay truly unpleasant.
Honestly, it was one of the worst camping experiences we’ve ever had. Definitely...

Rooms are cosy and well furnished, small kitchen inside is fully equipped as well.
Whole camping site has fast WiFi (fast enough to watch 1080p horrors in the evening). Very high standard public restrooms available 24/7. Artificial lake with small beach and water bikes. Free water slides, table tennis, trampolines and many more.
Personel speaks English, Danish and Polish. Renting driver's available in reception and by phone. Shop on site open till 10pm serving basic utensils, food and alcohol.
One thing to notice though, despite what the Google maps says, busses don't stop anywhere near Randbøldal anymore. Renting a driver (180 DKK to town, one way) is the best option for those without...
