This is the second time here and the third time on a Dayz resort. More about that later. ||We where two adults and two 8 year old girls. The check in was fast, with basic information about the center and we also got a small brochure, with a few discounts.||The house had two bedrooms bath with shower, kitchen with dishwasher.||||The surroundings are very nice with the nearby sea, and there is outdoor minigolf, football, tennis, climbing pole, playground and more.||||The kids liked the inside playground very much and there is a small nearby sitting area for the parents. The pool area is not so big but it has a toddler pool, two water slides, a 25 m swimming pool, one large pool, two small, and a bubble pool. The area was clean.||There is also a small gym with ok equipment and there is also a spa but we did not use it||||One negative thing during the week, is there is more or less only fast-food that is served in the restaurant. At saturday there is a buffet with fish of the day and different meat. There is also a kids buffet. Will we come back some day? Most likely. ||||We have also been to Dayz Sohojlandet. Read the bad comments, it is worn down with things that you can get injuries. Save your money||If you like inside waterparks go to The Reef in Fredrikshavn, that is very nice, but the hotel is just ok. An other good place for a family to go is Skallerup feriensenter, they have a nice spa and animals. For example...
Read moreHaving seen a few Landal locations by nie, this is the lowest rating on my list. Compared to the ones in the NL, this one feels dated, houses are tiny, you can barely unpack your bags and move around (2 bedroom house). We stayed here during the NY period, watch-out: a lot of things are closed, like restaurants (one brasserie with limited opening hours). We were going for dinners to a nearby city, restaurant Torino. We came in the last days of December to still be able to visit Legoland (closed January-March). The swimming pool is a big plus, however do check the opening hours in the app as it seems to vary per day, not sure why. One thing which really puzzled us was the very strange "art" on the wall in the indoor playground. A depiction of a scary creature, octopus-like, with sharp teeth, getting ready to eat a terrified flower...why?? Is this the thing you want to put on a wall next to the playground? Maybe someone can explain this to me. I remain confused. Overall, it was ok but don't expect too much. A visit to Legoland, was...
Read moreThe location is really idyllic and close to the nature, we had a beautiful view to Limfjord from our terrace and could walk to the beach in a minute. The water park might need some updating but it was still quite good and our toddler loved it. We were disappointed with the fact that the "Vildmarksbad" outdoor sauna and pool area was not included in the price. On their website they clearly market it as it would be included in the waterpark, this should be corrected so guests wouldnt feel disappointed!
There are really good indoor and outdoor play areas and many sport activities for all ages. We had pizza two times in the restaurant and it was pretty ok.
Overall I can recommend this place, it offers a really nice combination of indoor activities and beautiful nature. The price level of the accomodation including activities was...
