Stayed for one night on the way to Sweden for an Easter driving holiday. Having encountered heavy traffic jams on the motorways towards Hamburg due to road works and a long delay to get off the ferry from Germany at Rodby, arrived extremely late at the B&B, but Claus and Elizabeth, who own the B&B, were very patient and understanding and managed to offer a friendly welcome even if somewhat bleary-eyed from tiredness.|Guests stay in a separate small flat with its own amenities and small kitchen which is beautifully and tastefully decorated and very cosy. The interior is modern and functional but also in keeping with the local look and feel. The peace and quiet of the surroundings made for a wonderfully restful and pleasant sleep.|In the morning, the chance to get to speak to Claus and Elizabeth in a more meaningful way compared to the night before while sitting with them in a sunny corner of the garden that separates the guests' quarters from their living quarters soaking up the early spring sunshine, only served to confirm their friendliness and helpfulness further. |The wonderful experience of spending a night at Dyrlev topped-off with what I can describe as one of the most amazing breakfasts I have every had, comprising of a huge variety of the kind of food one associates with Scandinavia and all of which was of a really high quality. You can take the little boat from Stege to nearby Jungshoved with your bike, but check the timetable carefully as there are not many departures per week.||Great, quiet place with a wonderful breakfast and hosts!
