Hotel Baramar Nagua — Hotel in La Hispaniola

I was involved in an incident that happened on April 19th, 2025. A group of people came in the hotel and picked a fight with me & my family. The security guard did absolutely nothing to help us even though it was a fight between 4 women, he stood there and watched. I had to be security and deescalate the situation. My phone got stolen during this and I asked the hotel for footage and they took 3 weeks to send nothing and tell us THE SECURITY FOOTAGE WAS NOT WORKING. There should be no reason you have cameras everywhere and they don't work.. The owner of the hotel was very rude and acted like she didn't care. Thank God it wasn't worse because it looks like the owner wouldn't care if we got seriously hurt. They need to worry about the safety of the people and they need a better person operating the hotel. DO NOT GO HERE! The other staff members were kind and hotel is nice but the owner does not know how to treat people...

We asked days before booking if there was hot water at this hotel. We wanted to confirm because we had gone several nights already without hot water at a nearby hotel, while staying with our 3 year old son. There is no hot water at this hotel. The water heaters they installed are too small to sustain the amount of units they have. Don't stay here if you want the luxury of a warm shower.

Edit: The next day we asked about the hot water again, and we were accommodated with the temporary use of another room to use to shower...

Lo primero de todo es que este hotel no tiene seguridad y la manager o supervisora como se le puede decir es una persona con una actitud demasiada arrogante , al parecer ese roll de manager no es para ella. Los portones del hotel siempre estan abiertos las 24 horas del dia , no hay privacidad, aparte de eso me robaron mi cell en un problema que ocurrio alla y la manager no queria mostrarme los videos para yo saber quien me robo mi cell y dijo que las camaras estaban dañadas ese dia que me lo robaron, entonces como ir a un lugar asi donde la atencion con la manager es horrible no sirve para nada y que te roben tus pertenecias en el mismo hotel. Para nada recomiendo ese lugar...
