Place is clean. But on surface. Wifi sometimes work. Sometimes it doesn’t. Tv didn’t work. Room key didn’t work. I got a 1st room floor and they let a church hold its events Sunday. These people had put a literal table outside my window to hand out their fliers. So I had 4 teenagers screaming, and blasting their phones literally outside my window at 7 am on a Sunday. I couldn’t shower either because the bathroom window was on their line of sight. Staff is some of the most complicated I’ve seen in my life. If you ask for a slice of bread on the Dominican breakfast the answer is literally no. Not if you pay for it. Just no. Save for some exceptions they were incredibly rude. Read moreThis is the best hotel we've stayed at in the D.R. There is construction going on now and the pool is not usable, but it's a couple of miles from the beach, so no problem. Close to convenient stores/gas stations, and just on the edge of Azua.
The staff is friendly and helpful, but they only speak Spanish. The room is newer and fairly large and clean.
Internet signal is good in the room (a rarity in many Dominican hotels), and there's fairly secure parking on the side. They upgraded us to a balcony for no extra cost. The gym is pretty good.

Read moreThis hotel gets the job done. The rooms are a little small, but they are comfortable. Try to get a room on the first floor, especially during the summer. The higher you go the hotter it gets. Very friendly staff. I've been here twice now with a crew of 6+. The owner was very accommodating for us, and even changed the times of dinner and breakfast so they would work with our schedule. The hotel itself is small, but they are expanding.
