We stopped here for lunch… and had the most horrible experience of our vacation. We sat down in the heat and there’s lady hunched over looking at her phone. After a few minutes we called her and she called the lady in the kitchen. Who proceeded to tell us that the plate of the day and lobster was what they had. We all ordered the plate of the day. We ordered beer only to be told she had to call the waiter. He took over 20 minutes to come. We ordered beers. After we sat there sweating for a long time we adked what the problem was. The kitchen lady told us they cook in demand and they weren’t officially opened yet.WHY DIDNT SHE TELL US THAT IN THE BEGINNING??? We noticed the staff eating but we had not got our food. And the bartender had gone out to get supposedly an avocado. No one else could get us another beer. When our food came it was not enough for 3 people and my piece of chicken was raw. All I ate was rice (500 pesos) oh yes, she charged me for the raw chicken I did not eat. They had showed up the infinity pool and we asked if for the trouble we could get a discount to use the pool because we were so frustrated waiting so long and no beer… the manager said 500 pesos each. On top of horrible food, she could not budge and was rude… We went in at 12:15 and left very upset at 3:30pm all of us were so hot. This place will not succeed with this lousy customer service! Lousy food. Really lousy service and that’s not even being opened. They have no idea how to run a business and provide good customer service. Save your money for someplace else! We will not recommend it or go back. I have never written...
Read moreThe hotel has a great location, however it lacks in all other areas. We rented a 2-family space with 2 separate rooms, a kitchen and a sitting area on a balcony. We only got 3 towels for 5 people, and 2 tiny soap bars. The bed sheets are made of some cheap synthetic material and the bed cover was torn. The a/c turns on at 6pm - can't use it before. No drinking water was available, had to buy our own or order to be delivered by the local colmado. There's a what they call a "restaurant" right below the rooms we stayed at, and the smell of burnt oil is so bad, you have to keep all windows and balcony door closed, which renders the space to be useless. The typical Dominican breakfast offered by this "restaurant" was a total waste of ingredients that costed $10 and took them 50 minutes to prepare. The eggs were oily, the mangú was tasteless and the coffee was cold and diluted.
The hotel does not accept cards, so be sure to bring cash. Also bring your own towels, shampoo, drinking water. And don't eat at...
Read moreI gave no stars. At the moment.? Not a place I would recommend. Main office? No AC! For starter: AC is from 7pm to 9am. God forbid you need to stay in your room? You are faced with 🦟! & the terrible and awful smell of sewage 🚽💩. I had to take a towel and place it over the drain in in the bathroom in order to keep some of the smell out. The room is full of 🦟🦟!! & with no AC, you are subjected to getting eaten alive. & don’t you dare go & complain to the front desk! I was told by Guillermo, that I bother a lot. After me paying almost $300 for the wknd. The restaurant, if no guest? It’s closed before 7pm & it has thousands of 🦟. We had to leave & not order food b/c we were getting eaten alive. The parking lot is small & full of garbage & dirt. They are doing construction so be prepared to walk & get dirty. The small beach is cute but it’s not cleaned (seaweeds) like the other beaches. And there are lots of dogs that sit by you either at the beach or restaurant. So in other words! DONT...
