The river was fun! The beer is cheap! However, bring your own food because their only one guy there with a small gas grill selling food that leaves a LOT to be desired. The small Colmado to the left of the gas grill has Tilapia if that's your thing. Other than that, I liked the place.
A few things to note, the men's bathroom has a few small beehives. I was in there and the bees didn't seem to care and they didn't bother me. The closed building directly to the right of the bathrooms is FULL of beehives.... Again, the bees didn't seem to care about or bother the people in the area.
The little walk bridge that connects some of the sitting areas to the main entrance... Motoconchos and other motorcycles are constantly crossing it I also noticed many people jumping on the bridge. I didn't understand that. The bridge looks like it's seen it's better days.
Do I recommend this place? Yes. Just bring your own food and be mindful of the bees and motors trying to cross the walk bridge. Also, don't come there if you don't have a place to secure your belongings unless you want to take turns getting in the water and guarding...
Read moreI came to Rancho Las Guazaras for my friend’s wedding. As we got closer to the ranch I became more & more excited. The scenery, the fresh mountain air, and the beauty of these villas were simply amazing.
The staff were very welcoming, very helpful, and personable. Ana & Agustin made sure everyone was accommodated and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived to the time that we left. Anything you needed they were able to get for you & if they didn’t have what you were requesting onsite they would send someone out to get it! This really sets them apart from the rest! The food was delicious! The wedding decorations and renovated venue was beautiful! They made the bride’s vision come to life! The people here are really the reason why I’m writing this review, It’s the personal touch that makes you feel like family! I will definitely return to Rancho Las Guazaras in the future and would recommend this to anyone looking...
Read moreThe whole complex is incredibly beautiful. Located in the middle of the mountains, fresh sunny breeze all the time and cold nights to cuddle on a fireplace, omg I want to come back soon, I love that you can see pine trees and flowers everywhere you go. The villas are pretty confortable, good for small or big groups, weddings or any event, well equiped and with lots of balconies and different spaces to chill, close to each other but with their own private areas; wooden smell, comfy beds and peaceful sounds of waterfalls will make it an easy choice to stay for a couple of days to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature and the activities of the country land. The service is amazing, they have everything you need and if not, they’ll get it somewhere. The river is very close, we use to go in the night with a bottle of rum or any other temperature regulator on hand. You can see more of my recomendations on...
