Frank is a great host in Villa la Isla, he found an unique combination between wine tasting and guest house. He turned the villa into a little museum with hundreds of books and magazines and thousands of wine labels. Frank was in the nineties a very good somelier in Belgium and for years the best one in the Benelux. Wine is his passion and he can talk for hours about it. In his guesthouse he offers his guests a selection of international wines at a very low cost, I believe it started at $12 a bottle wich is insane. The last little bit getting there is interesting- even our taxi driver stopped to ask directions as the road turned into a rocky gravel road the last 1/4km. But what a beautiful hidden gem.
