A piece of heaven en el Portillo. We loved it. My very picky husband who always finds something, had nothing but accalades. We booked the Master Suite which gave us some spread out space. and seperate area for me work in ( although the desk is in bedroom) there was coffee table which was fine for me. Despite being close to main road, it was very quiet, like birds chirping nature quiet. The included breakfast was advertised as Continental but actually included made to order eggs and fo small supplment you could add breakfast meat and avocado ( like $5 usd for both us) We also enjoyed there happy hour after a day on beach and had some ceviche and mahi both which hit the spot after a few drinks on the beach ( which they deliver to you via whatsapp!) the beach is 5 min walk from reception and secluded even...

Beautiful hotel, brand new, located in Portillo about 5’ driving from las Terrenas. Situated in a private guarded complex. Beautiful rooms. The only drawback was the staff who was not organized and not client oriented: we booked 2 rooms they only gave us one of them, we had to complain to get the second one. Towels were missing and it seemed we were disturbing the staff when asking for some. The breakfast took about 1h30 just to serve some eggs and fruits because they said they were understaffed. Good location. Less than 5 minutes walk to beach. Regular TV not working. Could only watch movies with YouTube. No cremora in room for coffee. Basic breakfast included.
