HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AMAZING PLACE!

We started quite unprepared on our trip to the Dominican Republic. We arrived with a 2 hours delay at the airport and with a cancellation of our first night stay.

We were rather stressed out and had to find a new accommodation, whilst already in the taxi heading towards the direction of Sabana de la mar. Because we wanted to take the ferry to Samana the day after.

We found ‘Glamping los hicacos blanco’ on Airbnb and we’re very happy about their quick response.

We arrived when it was already dark and late, but Gianlucca and his mother were like a gift sent from above.

These very welcoming, warm hearted people made our first night in the Dominican Republic unforgettable! They just opened one month ago with 1 glamping tent, in a wonderful garden with all kinds of tropical plants and beautiful trees.

The accommodation is perfect, it provides everything you need: clean shower and toilets, beautiful glamping tent with two big beds, fresh towels, mosquito spray, water, clothes hangers, plugs to charge your electronic devices…

The location is wonderful: not only the garden, but also the surroundings. Beautiful palm trees, hills and a small river..

The owners are very welcoming and kind. They made us feel at ease, provided us with fresh breakfast and diner, made by their neighbours. All with fresh vegetables, fruits and daily fresh fish! It was a delight!!

They even helped us out with getting to the ferry, making a stop on the way so we could go to an ATM and buy some empanadas for on the go.

We enjoyed this evening so much, that we decided to stay another night at the end of our trip, after we took the ferry back to Sabana de le Mar and before we left for the airport.

Gianlucca took us to the most beautiful, deserted beach where we could spent the afternoon, before relaxing in their lovely garden and having an amazingly cooked fresh meal again.

We are grateful for this experience, looking forward to going back and would recommend this places and especially the owners, who make the experience even more memorable,...

We spent 2 nights here and I wish I figured this place out before the end of our trip. The owners are so lovely and accommodating! Think Hammocks, bonfire, freshwater stream and beautiful grounds.

They have a dominican family restaurant who cooks heartfelt dominican food for you! The owner also took us on a gorgeous horse ride through the mountains upon request.

This is a great place to come and relax and unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle. Tent was also extremely comfortable and things like water, towels and soap were provided.

After an unexpected arrival, we had a perfect stay at this wonderfull spot. Located on the way to the ferry to Samanà, this Glamping experience gives you a taste of the very pure dominican northern coast. A five star rating for this amazing experience! Enjoy the amazing garden, the fantastic owners and neighbours, who will provide you with some great memories. Will go back!
