Chaykovski Boutique — Hotel in Samana

A very secluded hotel just a few minutes out of Las Terranes, located inside of a private, gated park. It's a bit hard to find as there are no signs on the main road, and you have to travel for 10 minutes into the woods on a dirt road before you can get there, pin the location on your GPS or you might miss it. Is it worth it? You bet it! The hotel is brand new, it has a central pool area with lounge chairs and cushions everywhere, two saunas and HUGE spacious rooms with a very nice decor. Each room has its own private balcony with hammocks, a small kitchen, an open bathroom area with a huge shower. The place is very quiet as there are only few rooms and few guests, they have their own private beach within walking distance and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner poolside. The breakfast is specially amazing, very good food and lots of it. The atmosphere is so relaxing! They have a small car which you can rent (recommended) to visit the Limon waterfall (10 minutes away), Samanà/Playa Bacardi (40 minutes), Playa Rincòn (90 minutes ride, but definitely worth it). This for me would be enough to give it 5 stars, but what really sets this hotel apart from all the rest is the service. Natalia and Alex, the owners, accommodated for our every need, there is nothing they won't do for you. We asked them to get us on a bus to Santo Domingo and they looked it up online for us, took us to the bus station in Samanà through the pouring rain, rushed to the ticket office and spoke with the clerk to sort everything out and make sure we didn't get lost, even carried our luggage for us to the bus. My girlfriend forgot her glasses at the hotel, and they were a gift so she was very upset about it, but Natalia was a true sweetheart and went back and forth to the post office in Las Terrenas to get us information on how we could ship the glasses back to our home. Truly amazing and appreciated help, especially considering that they run this hotel with a small staff and so they probably don't have a lot of free time. I love it how they made it their mission to make us happy. This is what makes a hotel truly stand out. Definitely a place were I would suggest anyone to stay at, best hotel in Las Terranes...

The place is really AMAZING and for many different reasons:||1) If you look for a quiet place and wish to be outside the overcrowed Las Terranas center, this is the ideal place ! ||2) If you wish to be VERY CLOSE (2' on foot) to a great 2km beach without anyone, this is the ideal place !||3) If you wish to be in a small structure hotel where you are considered more as a friend than as a customer / number, this is the ideal place !||4) The pool was fantastic, the place was decorated with so much good taste, the rooms were not 'just a room' but a real apartment, very large, great show, wonderful bed, a terrace... you cannot dream better than this place !||5) The breakfast was great and the dinner we ordered one day was delicious (and the cocktails/shots were fantastic !)||6) And last but not least, if you want to meet the wonderful owner (Natalia) who will do ANYTHING POSSIBLE to satisfy all you're looking for, this is the ideal place !||Thanks Natalia for this wonderful stay, it was a memorable moment in our holidays/life. This place definitely got its own style. you will be impressed like we were,by modern design of brand new apartments. It is actually brand new,I mean everything in & out. Another thing we were amazed by,was beach ,of course.. No,there is no bars,restaurants or anything else,but pure nature. If you go to the right side,breathtaking view and clearness of the sea guaranteed. Another good thing about the beach-nobody will bother you. Ever. There is no local sellers of tobacco,rum e.t.c like elsewhere,so just relax and enjoy. I think we fit perfectly in this hotel because it is quiet,clean and comfortable.
