I had to ask to exchange my room, because in the first one they gave me, the electrical panel made a very uncomfortable noise. All rooms have a small fridge that rattles loudly whenever the compressor turns on or off. I had to unplug it to sleep. Breakfast is supposed to start at 07:00; but if you know how it is in the Caribbean... Dinner is until 9:00 pm, but they usually close up earlier than that. And you better get something, because there is nothing close by. Food is acceptable. Service is mediocre. Wifi is intermittent and hardly makes it to the rooms. I could only get a signal standing by the door. Since I couldn't work in my room, I sat by the open air restaurant, where the mosquitoes feasted on me. And even if I didn't need wifi to work, the combo dresser / desk / TV stand isn't very practical (see picture). Bed is comfortable; but I could hear everything that was going on in the adjoining room. Tub is very narrow and the shower curtain is flimsy and sticks on you from the water pressure, making you feel like sudsy burrito. On the 2nd day of my stay, the hand towel and floor towel were taken and not replaced. I've read other reviews saying that this is the best hotel in town... I shriek at the thought of how the others might be.

The hotel was nice and clean, the bed was super comfortable and the staff were super friendly, the food was also good. I would definately reccomend to anyone especially for the price.

Best hotel in San Francisco de Macoris, hands down. Everything works, including the T.V. This is not ghetto. Quality with a touch of class.

If you are about the campo life you will not mind spending time here. My family stayed here for a wedding since it was nearby. The bad reviews are sadly true - there were roaches in the bathroom sink in our room, didn't see any in our bedroom the entire 3 nights we were there.

The mini fridge worked fine, no hangers or iron in room, but they can steam your outfit for a cheap price. The beds and pillows looked clean and were comfy.

If you want to sleep at night --- do not stay here. Club is right next to our hotel and it's like we are in the club. Loud music all night beginning around 7:30pm-4am (I stayed from Friday-Sunday, not sure how it is on Monday-Thursdays).

The breakfast was good - they give you 3 options to chose from and if you want more than one meal they will charge you a little extra for it.

The pool was open. Saw the workers clean it every morning.

If you are here just for a night or two I would recommend it if you can deal with a couple bugs here and there and the loud music. If not, get yourself an...
