We had a lovely time at Liana Lodge. Our guide Adrián was knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and kind. We feel lucky to have spent three days with him, and appreciated his first-hand knowledge of the local area. All the lodge staff were helpful and flexible. We liked that we were assigned the same guide for our entire trip and that we could choose our own activities each morning and afternoon. All the activities were good. We would especially recommend the sunset hike and the gold panning/fishing in addition to any jungle walks and a visit to the zoo.
The lodge is not too far from Tena and was easy to reach with buses/taxis. The staff helped up plan our trips in and out on public transportation and were immediately responsive the WhatsApp messages.
The food was very good and very abundant! The staff remembered at each meal that one member of our party could not consume dairy and always provided an appealing substitute.

Comfortable cabins with hot water showers, and ours had electric for charging and lights, although I heard some people saying they had candles and used charging points provided in the office.|In the three full days we did six of the activities included, and enjoyed every one of them, even the Mirador hike in torrential rain. Read moreWhat a beautiful and amazing lodge!|We spend a few days during March here and had a wonderful time. The lodge is located in the middle of the rainforest and offers a variety of great trips to the deeper rainforest, local villages and the animal rescue station AmaZoonico. The staff was very open and heartwarming, making everyone feel most welcome. Every meal had several courses and was absolutely delicious, capable of curing stomach aches that we had gotten in our previous travel time. The rooms were beautiful handbuild lodges, even though they were limited by what can be put up in the middle of the forest they were absolutely comfortable and clean. In the end, the worst part was to say goodbye and we can't wait...
