Playa lodge — Hotel in Cojimies

First of all, the most remarkable point here is the kindness of its owners, they are always asking if you need something and how is going on. The hotel it is not big, it gives you the sensation of a summer home, so it means it's cozy. They offer three different programs, two of them include food: breakfast and Breakfast+Lunch or Breakfast+Dinner. Food it is not 5 stars but it is good for the price. Commonly you will find two options and the menu with additional plates. By the way Fish with garlic sauce was supreme! (Cuisine in Cojimies does not bright as the Manabita favorite one) If you want pasta forget it, it was impossible to find any nor the hotel or the town. |Regarding the rooms, the are luminous with air conditioning in every room. We got a cottage with 4 double beds. The bad experience at least for me was the mattress, I ended with a back pain due excessive softness and pillows did not helped me either. On the other hand, everything is very clean, the maid changed towels every one other day. The WiFi is not high speed but works fine. TV offers mostly national tv stations, but who cares, this beach has been made to enjoy a profound relaxing time. ||The beach was not clean due a recent Sea flood. there's more than half a mile from the hotel to the Town. Stayed here w/ my husband and mother in law and it was perfect. At first glance it seems kind of bare bones, but really it has everything you need. Clean rooms w/ air conditioning, a wall safe, wifi, and comfy beds, a great shower w/ hot water, and the LOCATION is RIGHT on the beach. It's located south of Cojimies, so it's quiet but still in walking distance if you want to go check out the town. The beach is HUGE at low tide and clean. They have hammocks, cold beer, volleyball net, restaurant, a small swimming pool and good service. The price, at $20 per person plus tax, can't be beat for all that they offer. Wir kamen abends in der Unterkunft an, in der man zuerst nichts von unserer Reservierung wusste, bekamen aber das Zimmer, das auch gereinigt war, aber leider mit einer Cucaracha. Die Werbebilder der Zimmer sind stark bearbeitet und entsprechen nicht der Realität.

Aufgrund der Insekten und da kein WLan verfügbar war, gaben wir Bescheid, dass wir am nächsten Tag abreisen würden, so weit war alles für uns in Ordnung. Wir haben den Mitarbeitern mitgeteilt, dass wir einige Stunden online arbeiten müssen und es sich dementsprechend problematisch für uns in der Unterkunft gestaltet.

Am nächsten Morgen ging ich früh in den offenen Bereich, in dem WLan verfügbar war. Die Geräuschkulisse war immens, auch eine Stunde vor dem Frühstück. Während meines Meetings forderte ein Mitarbeiter mich auf, den Tisch frei zu geben. Als ich ihm erklärte, dass das Meeting in wenigen Minuten beendet ist und ich mich mit dem an der einzigen funktionierenden Steckdose verbundenen Laptop gerade nicht umsetzen kann, begann der Mitarbeiter, geräuschvoll, die Tische von meinem Platz wegzuziehen und eine Großfamilie neben mich zu platzieren, weil der Bereich reserviert sei (wieso konnte man das nicht vorher mitteilen oder ein Schild aufstellen?!)
