Hotel La Ría Durán — Hotel in Duran

We stayed here the night before the Tren Crucero trip, so we could be close to the station for an early start. It was hard to feel confident about the area on arrival, but the building is new and the facilities were everything we needed for our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, but more important, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were keen to help, with everything from our bags, arranging a taxi to the station (about 200m!), and making a special effort to have dinner available for us. Even though it was within walking distance, we were advised to take a taxi to the station, which we did for USD$2. Only one staff member seemed to have any English, and our Spanish is non existent. I stayed in this hotel for 8 days referred by airport staff to do a mandatory quarantine. The double bed rooms don’t have any windows that you can use to see the light of day. The meals included in the package was TERRIBLE, most of the days breakfast was 2 slices of white bread not even toasted or and butter, half a piece of cheese and ham and a small glass of lemonade.
