IGUANAZU Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Guayaquil

We came there just when the world (and Ecuador) start closing itself due to COVID-19 and we were welcomed so warmly by the hosts. They took good care of us, the service was perfect, the room clean, the food delicious. We were the only guests and they gave us the best room, offer us special treatments and we even learn to make the Ecuadorian ceviche from the cook!!! The location is perfect, with supermarkt nearby, not too far from the airport and quiet neighbourghood.The atmosphere was friendly and they made us felt safe and welcome. Julio Cesar and Roberto were just so nice! They also arrange a taxi when we got our plane tickets to go back home. This is a great place in Guayaquil to stay and relax in their great pool, enjoy the beautiful garden (with the iguanes that we can see sometime coming on the propriety) and enjoy the good food Roberto is cooking for the guests! The Nazu House is located a bit outside the center but easily reachable by taxi, but note that it is a bit difficult to find (my driver took some rounds until he found it).||The Guesthouse is on a hill with nice views over Guayaquil in a quiet neighborhood. There is a nice garden with pool.||Rooms are nicely decorated in a bright modern style. My room was nice and had a large bathroom. There was a small balcony with nice views.||Breakfast is simple but very good, dinner was ok.||Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a Guesthouse so there is no service like in a hotel but they are really nice.||One small remark: on some spots you can see some wear and tear (e.g. Pool) so some renovations would help.||Overall a very good experience- considering the rate you pay, you get really a nice experience. My 2 daughters and I stayed here in July 2017 after having spent a wonderful 9 days in the Galapagos. Could not picture myself staying in the city again, so chose a place with a more natural setting and quiet.This B&B was perfect. Fantastic views from our dinner table on the balcony, especially at night when the city below was lit up. The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
