Huigra Viejo Camping Resort — Hotel in Huigra

I will write two opinions here, one is mine & the second from my kids:||My opinion: ||The view is beautiful, the place its safe, have good bathrooms with hot water, free barbecues, free drinkable water and have some things in the bar like beer & wine ;)||If you go I recommend to go to Panama' s waterfall and spend some time speaking with the people in town (huigra). ||To have a breakfast in Huigra the better place is in the corner near the train station. For lunch the comedor Elisabeth and the prices in both places are maximum 2.50 per breakfast and lunch. ||Fritada or hornado in town are not very good.||This camping is a nice place to spend one night and preferable if you go with your own car. Be prepared because to approach the camping´s parking for some cars is difficult because it is in a high hill.||If you go by bus, In Huigra there are some "camionetas" taxis in front of the store and they charge 3 dolars to get you in to the camping.||The Camping tents are big & good but the mattresses are hard (there is not an inflatable matresses). The Sleeping bags are good.||If you have the opportunity to go, and choose your tent you must see if the floor is well leveled. (that´s important)||Kids opinion: ||terrific!!!! The best place of their lives !!!! Amazing!!!! ||The place is ideal to stop and stay if you are in a trip to Alausí, Riobamba or to anywhere in that area...

Un lugar para acampar, hay parrillas para asar, puedes llevar tu carpa y tu bolsa de dormir o alquilar ahí alguna de las que tienen y puedes llevar mascotas. Es conocida como "El Lugar de la Eterna Primavera". Debido a que cualquier epoca del año es ideal para acampar, durante el dia el clima es ideal, puede ser que llovizne un poco, en la noche baja un poco mas la temperatura, pero nada extremo. Puedes pedirle a la dueña que te lleve el desayuno pagando un valor extra o hacertelo tu mismo. Hay baños, duchas que debes compartir con el resto de los campistas, tambien hay wifi. Durante la noche y hasta las 5 de la mañana hay neblina pero despues escampa mostrando una vista espectacular de las montañas que hay alrededor. Hay piscina, hamacas y puedes...

The tent is big and comfortable. The shared bathroom is clean and equipped with hot water. You have the option to rent a solar panel for electricity which was indispensable for us. There is WiFi all around...
