Hosteria Quinta San Clemente — Hotel in Ibarra

Overlooking the valley of Ibarra and the whole city on the one side and underneath the volcano Imbabura on the other, the view is simply superb. The swimming pool is huge and heated. The rooms are large and each one has a fire place. Internet worked well too.|The place is hard to find if you don't have Waze as there is no sign for it and it's located well outside the city. We did miss having bar/restaurant open in the evening but I suppose this will be fixed once more staff is hired as the place had just recently started operating as a hotel when we stayed there.|We payed $40 per head including taxes and breakfast. I stayed in this place with a group from IMG (International Mountain Guides) on Sunday 11/2 in between climbing some of the volcanos in the area. The room and restaurant were very good but I forgot a sun hoody in the bathroom (we left in a hurry). We called the manager and he said it was not found without even checking with the room service people. It just annoyed me because I know I left it there and no where else.

Las instalaciones son acogedoras y están limpias y bien cuidadas. Los jardines son bonitos, sin embargo, el pequeño lago está descuidado y arruina la estética del lugar.
