Hostal Rosita Latacunga — Hotel in Latacunga

We had the most amazing time at Hostal Rosita! The highlight of the hotel was without doubt our host Marco, always ready and willing to help!

We did the Cotopaxi tour with him, and despite we were unlucky with the weather, it is definitely a must if you don't have a car. Also he happily kept (for free) all our bags during our 3-days hike of the Quilotoa loop, which was extremely helpful.

The rooms are clean, spacious and have hot water, and the optional breakfast is really good!

What an amazing time at Hostal Rosita! We arrived late in Latacunga and were looking for a place for the night before taking off for the Quilotoa loop. Staying here was an experience in itself with great hospitality. Marco and Rosita are an amazing couple with great jokes too 😄 so glad we had the honor of staying with them and bonus points because Marco brought us to the bus station for free in the morning! If you are looking for a fun experience, I recommend staying with these charming hosts who really care about...

The highlight of my stay has to be the welcome and service received from Marco and Rosita. Marco was kind enough to take me to the bus station a few times (for free). He provides the best travel tips and offers tours to nearby Cotopaxi which he is very passionate about. My room was comfortable and cosy, the breakfast was delicious and the hostel is centrally located. They also own the bar next door if you fancy a drink after a long day of hiking, before rolling into bed.
