The best combination of adventure I didn't know I needed! My friends and I chose the 5-night 6-day canoe-camping expedition which was the best decision we could've ever made for ourselves. We travelled with the loveliest group of people: our two Guides, Pablo and Carlos, our canoe driver, Orson, and our chef, Juli. Canoeing deeper and deeper into the rainforest, to the border of Peru and Ecuador, and passing through the equator, was truly an experience of our life time. ||Pablo is an extremely professional guide, who is full of knowledge of all sorts of animals, plants, and insects! He was always so vigilant about our safety and constantly made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. His caring, 'don't worry!' always comforted us throughout our trip. Carlos, from the Siona community, obviously has a lot of local knowledge - he brought us so many surprises of fruits and plants and made sure we were experiencing the rainforest to the fullest. He told us a few folktales that will forever be in our minds. Orson, our canoe driver, and Juli, our chef, both were absolutely brilliant as well - driving the canoe for hours and hours and feeding a group of peope every day are such exhuasting jobs, but they both made sure we were well taken care of, with smiles all along.||Every campsite is managed by the guardians from the local indigenous community, and they were all so clean and comfortable - with toilets and showers. Camping is an understatement, it was definitely glamping! :) ||Swimming in the lagoons, spotting endless species of birds, monkeys, fishing piranhas and eating them, stargazing boat rides, morning and nightly insect walks... everything was perfect. Thank you to the team at Nicky Amazon Lodge for providing us with an unforgettable time.||We chose Nicky Amazon Lodge because of the excellent communication and responses we've gotten while we were searching for our adventure. Stefany was patient and responsive to our queries and did not get impatient with any of our lots of back and forths (dealing with a group logistics!). It did not disappoint. I highly recommend anyone to go for a longer...

Read moreWe just arrived from our 3 nights, 4 days stay at Nicky Amazon Lodge. We were a group of 12 people and from the moment we arrived at the lodge, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their knowledge and passion for the rainforest were evident.
The accommodations at the Nicky Amazon Lodge were beyond my expectations. Nestled in the heart of the rainforest, the rooms offered both comfort and a sense of immersion in nature. The room was thoughtfully designed, blending seamlessly with the surroundings while providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the guided excursions into the rainforest led by Jefferson, who is a very knowledgeable guide and loves nature. From spotting vibrant birds and playful monkeys to encountering the dolphins and all the nighttime critters during the nighttime walk.
Additionally, the opportunity to visit a local village and engage with the indigenous communities provided a unique cultural exchange that was both humbling and eye-opening. There we got a chance to prepare a meal with them.
The dining experience at the lodge was exceptional. We were served 3 meals and a snack each day. The chefs skillfully incorporated local ingredients to create flavorful dishes that showcased the rich culinary traditions of the region. The dessert on day 2 was to die for and they happily obliged us with seconds when asked.
Our stay at the Nicky Amazon Lodge was an unforgettable adventure. I highly recommend staying at the Nicky Amazon Lodge for an immersive and awe-inspiring experience.
Lastly, I also want to mention Jhonatan who made all the arrangements for our large group and without whose help this would not have been so seamless. He...
