La Casa del Rio B&B Puyo — Hotel in Puyo

My favorite place in Puyo! Very peaceful and relaxing with an amazing pool coupled with large, clean suites with hot water showers and ample water pressure (not common in most places in Ecuador). It was wonderful to come here and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is the only place throughout the duration of my stay in Ecuador where I didn’t have to wear ear plugs! No irritating roosters or barking dogs 😅 just the peaceful sounds of the river, birds, and Mother nature. The staff/ owners were very accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was deliciously large and filling! Next time I visit I plan to stay longer.

We have been coming to Puyo, Ecuador for over 10 years and I recently came accross the La Casa del Rio B&B. It was a very pleasant surprise. Super clean, organized and the host are amazing friendly and helpful. Beautiful location, woke up each morning to the sounds of the forest, bordered by a small river and the Puyo River. The breakfast are wonderful, swimming pool and the grounds are children friendly, lots of flowers and beautiful trials. We were planning on only staying a few days and ended up staying over a week. Of all my traveling this is one of my favorite experiences I’ve ever had that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Everything down to the toilet paper is perfect. Extremely clean. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. Falling asleep to the rain and waking up to a great breakfast and amazing coffee every morning was the perfect relaxation we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough. Really beautiful property that made me feel safe and taken care of. ...
