Hawaii Caesar Dreams Resort Aqua Park — Hotel in Al Ahia'

AMAZING.|So firstly I don't want to take away other people's experience of this hotel as I whole heartedly believe they were all true BUT please reconsider returning if you had a bad time. The hotel has been recently taken over and by God what a change, not just asthetically but a complete staff change. As you look at the hotel from the front we were in the little part to the right as the big part is having a complete renovation. This did not impact our holiday 1 bit. In fact if we walked anywhere near where someone was working they'd stop and carry on once we walked past. They were also renovating rooms in the part we stayed but we didn't even know they were there. When I say renovating I mean they have ripped everything out and starting with a blank canvas. The swim up rooms have been completely emptied and were having all new electrics installed and new furniture, we saw brand new mattresses being put in the rooms too. |Now for the exceptional part.|We were met at reception with a welcome drink and the most pleasant receptionist I've ever come across. We didn't check in at the desk we were sat on the really comfy sofas, relaxed and ready for our holiday. Our cases were loaded onto the trolley and taken to the rooms for us. |ROOM|Our room was spotlessly clean. The 1st thing i try is the bed and it did not disappoint it's on par with a premier inn mattress ❤️ plenty of room for us the pull out sofa bed was also very very comfy and Who doesn't love bed art we had crocodiles, octopus, elephant, monkey the list goes on ❤️|FOOD|we arrived after tea but they offer a late supper and what a treat we had. Fresh bread, warm and extremely tasty food with plenty of choice. |As the holiday went on the food was never repeated. It was hot, tasty, full of flavour and freshly cooked at every meal time, a lot of it you see them preparing fresh. I personally love that. The poolside restaurant does fresh pizzas in the pizza oven, chicken shawarma, fresh homemade beef burgers or chicken burgers and boy they didn't disappoint. The food is spectacular. You can even order your food and take it back to the pool side but we preferred to sit and enjoy the service which was superb.|ALCOHOL|We all like a drink on holiday and the cocktails are gorgeous, don't order loads at once you really don't need to, when your drink is nearly empty they're there filling it up. Local spirits are strong, they use cans of Stella for lager it's fresh and tastes lovely and isn't flat.|POOLS/BEACH|The hotel itself is big and the pools and slides are brilliant. This is a great family place you don't need to leave the hotel if you don't want to. The private beach is gorgeous. The sea is very shallow and you can walk quite far and the water is still only to your knees.|STAFF|I will never be able to praise them enough. Barstaff, restaurant, reception, chefs, gardeners, maintenance, lifeguards, cleaners, concierge, room cleaners, security and entertainment staff WOW what an absolutely amazing bunch of people. They cannot do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. They're pleasant and you can see how much they love it if your happy. |They all read the room perfectly. Please please tip them it doesn't have to be lots they are so grateful for anything. If you have a special occasion happening whilst your there just mention it to the chefs and you'll be in for the best treat ever (i wont elaborate and spoil it)|SUMMARY|I'm pretty sure I could go on about this place for hours but I won't as I think I've covered most things. Please bare in mind they have turned this hotel around in 25 days so imagine what they're going to achieve in another 25 days it's going to be spectacular once it's completely done.|This has been the only time I've cried when leaving a hotel, i honestly did not want to leave. |Every photo I added I've taken, if you do go please say hi to all staff for me I'm missing them already and if you choose this place as your next holiday have...

This hotel is the master to turn your holidays into a nightmare. On the first arrival day, they lost our reservation. Instead of doing something, they just said, "we can't do a thing." We showed a voucher as proof that we had a reservation - it was worthless. So after two hours of negotiation, we just paid for one night's stay, hoping that the next day they would find our reservation. We got the smallest room with a construction view for 92 EUR! (In the EU it's expensive and in Egipt it big money) And the next day, nothing happened again; they just did nothing. So we called Europe to ask the agency to resend the reservation and BAM - a miracle there is a reservation. So we lost two days of our holidays instead of relaxing - we were doing receptions work, looking for reservations. After a few days, they returned our money and asked for fil the form "how they helped us solve our problem". Good joke, though. Food. is another topic worth to tel. If you are cooking something, let's say chicken, and leaving it in a fridge for a weak and cook three-time again, that's what the hotel was serving to us. To call food disgusting would be too nice—a massive amount of old, overcooked, gross, and burned food—no talking about ridiculous representation, cooked chicken on the sticks with paprikas as a decoration.

Noise - starting from 8 a.m. till late night all the time loud music. Resting is not an option in there. This hotel is famous for Arabs, not many Europeans.

One-star because we upgraded to a pool bungalow - which was nice. Room service does not exist. So we need to beg for water and beg to clean the room. And they have a good kite spot. We will never again come back to this hotel. For Europeans - stay away from this hotel as well. Trust me; it's not worth it. There are better...

Now we are home and safe I feel I can give a true review of this hotel. I took photos as I could scarcely believe what I was seeing. |The hotel has a large Egyptian clientele. Not really welcoming for Europeans so don’t understand why they take our money.|The rooms are filthy and everything is either worn or broken. The bathroom was absolutely vile. Everything was broken and stained. Dripping pipes that made the floor constantly wet. The balcony had 2 chairs, both of which were broken so could not be sat on. The cupboard holding the fridge was broken and so was the bathroom door. The plaster was coming off the wall due to damp. |But the absolute worse thing was the food. Every day at 3.30pm large containers of cooked chickens were brought out and left, wrapped in cling film, in 32degree heat until the barbecue started at 7.30 pm.in the dining room the staple offer of the day was bird beak casserole. The containers were dirty and the worktops were not cleaned. There were no napkins at the tables. Lots of people complained that there was no food suitable for children so they brought in bananas but these had to be booked individually for each child ( I am telling the truth). |We were given notice to quit after 2 days as our travel company Hervezde had not paid for our rooms. The rep Rezy was no help. He was charming when he wanted us to use him as a taxi or buy trips but when we needed help he was unable to be contacted. |The reception staff were surly and rude and would ignore me to speak over my head with someone speaking Arabic. |We are in the process of sueing our holiday company Jetliner for a full refund plus compensation.
