I spent 2 weeks here "All Inclusive" and everything as far as I was concerned was great. The room was very good, very clean and tidy, with a big comfy king-size bed, Flat screen TV, fridge, coffee,/tea making facilities, good size shower and Aircon. The WiFi in my room (Third floor, main block) was ok. Not particularly fast but reasonably reliable. Although it does depend on how many guests are using it. All the staff were friendly and helpful. You can also arrange various tours with the guys at reception. There is also a bar near reception where you can buy various non alcoholic drinks, juices and tea/coffee.|The main pool is very nice, with some sun beds placed around the sides, and a small pool bar. The water is quite cold, but it's nice and invigorating, especially in the morning. Oh... In early November the sun shines on the pool area until around 3.30pm, then it's in the shade. There are also three other smaller pools but most people sit around the main pool.||Whilst I was there they opened their spa. I didn't use it, so I can't tell you anything about it.||Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are served in the rooftop restaurant. It's quite small but I always got a table and there was always plenty of food. You can choose to sit inside or outside. Whilst I was staying there, they were working on another restaurant down stairs so this may change where you eat in the future.||Food|Please remember, this is an Egyptian hotel in Egypt, not a 4/5 star European hotel. Also my review is based on my own standards for food, and although I like my food I'm not overly fussy.||Breakfast |I thought the breakfast was good. There were cereals, eggs (hard boiled, sometimes scrambled), small bread rolls, jams, cheeses, a few meat slices, cakes slices, some fruit, tea/coffee, fruit juice and water, and of course the usual Egyptian breakfast foods||Lunch |The lunch was also good. During my stay there was a choice of Chicken, Beef, Pasta, Fish, Rice, Vegetable's, fruit and some sweet treats as well. Along with the same drinks as breakfast. The choice does vary by day. |||Dinner |As with Breakfast and Lunch, Dinner was good. During my stay there was a choice of Chicken, Fish, Beef, Duck, Rice, Vegetables, Pasta & Sauce, and again some fruit, sweet treats and cakes for dessert, and various drinks. As with lunch, the choice does vary by day||All in all, I was very happy with the selection and quality of the food.||FYI - "All inclusive" in AlDora doesn't mean all food & all drinks free all the time. It means that you get breakfast, lunch and dinner (with water, coffee or juice) included in the price. You also get snacks around the bar pool area in late afternoon (times depending on season) Any additional drinks (hot/cold) are chargeable. When I stayed you were given a wrist band which lets the restaurant staff know you're "All Inclusive" ||I believe you can also get tea/coffee, cola, sprite from the pool bar free (as part of the all inclusive price)|||One thing to note. The reception is not where you would expect it to be. There is a big illuminated sign displaying "Al Dora Residence". This is not where the hotel reception is. The reception is about 50 meters further down the road, closer to the beach. It's actually at the location of "Al Dora Inn" on Google maps. I've attached a photo of the entrance to reception.||There is a good sized supermarket (Pick & Pack) at the end of the street If you want to buy some toiletries or food etc and it has fixed prices, so no need to haggle.||Beach|The free beach is accessed with a voucher which you ask reception for. The beach is actually the Davinci Hotel beach, which is pretty much opposite the Davinci Hotel. To access the beach, you walk down a side street. At the entrance to the side street there is a barrier and a hut with a guard. To gain access you give your voucher to the guard. The beach itself isn't strictly a real beach, it's more like a flat concrete area with sand covering the concrete (and it's more like construction sand rather than natural beach sand), but hey, it's perfectly fine for enjoying the sun. Oh, and once you get into the sea, it's a nice sandy bottom (real sand) There's slso plenty of sunbeds with large umbrellas and the attendants bring you over a sunbed cushion for you to lie on, free of charge. I've attached some photos of the beach.||In November it's nice and peaceful. There's no load pool music or crazy pool activities, so if you looking for a quiet relaxing holiday this place is a good choice.||I would recommend buying and using some black fly insect repellent as the fly's can be annoying (sometimes), but it's only when your laying by the pool, If you're walking around it's fine, and it's not a negative point against the hotel, it's just nature.||The was only one negative thing on my holiday and that was the guests near my room who insisted on slamming their room doors.,and dragging furniture across the floor. Quite annoying, but of course, it's not the hotels fault. ||All in all, I had a really nice stay at Al Dora...
Read moreCheck-in - We arrived tired at night after a 9-hour journey and despite having all-inclusive we didn't get anything to eat, not even dry bread.
We paid for a room with a balcony and a sea view, and we got a room without a balcony. When we reported this problem at the reception, we were told that there was no such room. I would also like to emphasize that the price of the Deluxe Suite is twice as high as a standard room. The gentleman at the reception said that he wouldn't give us what we paid for.
Instead of enjoying our vacation and relaxing, we were worried whether we would get what we paid for. We only managed to change rooms the next day.
Food - We paid for all-inclusive, but unfortunately it was only full board. No alcohol, wine or beer or drinks.
The food was very monotonous and had very little choice. Every day rice, beef, cucumbers and tomatoes. No salads for dinner. From fruit, pomegranates, oranges and rarely melons. We have never encountered such a poor offer in an all-inclusive package.
We had the impression that the hotel saves on everything.
To get bottled water for dinner, you had to pay extra for it. Two types of juices from the machine, which tasted disgusting, just chemicals.
The coffee machine is open every day only during breakfast until 10:00. In our opinion, it should be available all the time.
Miniature-sized cakes, so that you don't eat too much. In one of the photos there is a piece of this cake next to the salt and pepper shakers to show the real size of the cake.
The rest are some modest biscuits and balls sprinkled with coconut.
Flies sitting on the food in the restaurant. The waiters don't speak English, if you ask about something, they run to the manager.
WI-FI - very poor signal and disconnects very often. It happened that this WI-FI was not there at all. Room - the bathroom trash can was always dirty and splashed during the entire stay.
We also got a stained sheet one day.
From the very beginning there was a problem with hot water in the shower. As one of the employees told us, most of the hot water is used in the spa - jacuzzi and hammam.
When we reported the problem with hot water, we were given a key to another room so that we could take a warm shower.
There, unfortunately, the hot water ran out after two minutes.
During a holiday in January, when the evenings are cool and taking a shower in cold water while paying for a hotel is a scandal.
We have never had such a ruined holiday.
So it is not a problem with the room, but the water heating system in the entire facility is inefficient.
It also happened that the water from the tap did not run at all, which can also be seen in the video.
Pool bar - very often there was no employee. There was also supposed to be a snack bar at the pool bar every day - unfortunately this is a lie. The water in the pool was freezing, maybe 5 degrees. In the pictures on their website everything looks beautiful, but what good is it when you can't swim in the pool. There is a constant barker by the pool, who is tiring and annoying. There is also no music and lifeguard by the pool, but you can hear the sounds of renovations which prevented us from relaxing - drilling and chiseling. The area in front of the hotel and behind the hotel is incredibly littered and neglected, which can be seen in the attached videos. In front of the hotel there is one building missing along with the foundations, there is a large hole in the ground, which is unsecured and very dangerous. If you think you will sleep in one of the colorful houses by the pool, you are mistaken. These houses have private owners. Overall, we feel disappointed and cheated by Al Dora Residence. In addition, there was supposed to be a sauna, which is not there at all. We made the reservation through Booking, but even they did not help us. We paid 47,538 EGP...

the first floor Room 104 The bathroom smells so bad The water in the shower didn't go down, so I looked at the sewer I threw away a lot of long hair so the ventilator is running 24 hours a day The water pressure in the shower is so weak that I can't take a shower I everyday during 6days ask reception repair that But nothing change I ask that rude manager again the next day He say to me ask to the reception I talk about it yesterday, but nothing changed and then He's going to check it out now And ask him There's no shower gel. When I ask him if you was cleaning the room He don't say I'm sorry, but I understand In the end, the manager didn't change anything On the day before the check-out, they don't clean our room because they think we're going to check-out I complained to the rude manager and asked him why he didn't ask for repairs for a few days, and he replied, "You're going out tomorrow." If the customer tells them, it will be done after a long time We asked for hot water for the coffee pot, and he said he couldn't give it more But the coffee pot We said you'd exchange it because it's out of order
The television doesn't have a signal line, so it works
The first floor is so stuck with the canteen that it's noisy until 2AM and smells of cigarettes
There are three swimming pools that can be used in real life There's only one big pool but little bit duty
There's only one restaurant, and the whole menu is very small It doesn't taste good either I can't choose because there is only one type of dish, such as chicken and beef For six days, every morning, every lunch, every year, the same menu comes out I don't have a regular cup It's so inconvenient to use a very cheap single-use plastic cup instead Breakfast starts at 7:30, but it's ready at 40 minutes So many people are waiting for it I didn't have anything to eat for breakfast so there were a lot of people at Egg Station Waiting!!! The 4th breakfast didn't have a chef In Eggstaation, Sunnyside, Screamble they can't The coffee machine often doesn't have water, so it's out of order
Who call it all-in-exclusive?????? There are not many kinds of food left Coffee and tea are all paid Water and soft drinks are all paid for bottles or cans It's just a regular accommodation that gives breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Free wifi limited 1G per day but very slow You can't upload it on Instagram Even in restaurants, the Wi-Fi You can't connect
I made a reservation for 1 person by mistake, but I'm going to change the room for 2 people, so I charge twice the original rate. The room is the same I only use one
These are Asians You can see in your actions that you don't like What do you mean to the customer as if to teach talk and be rude
There are many other problems than this Even though I'm not a very picky person If it's this level, it's correct not to make...
