From the moment we arrived at Maison Maxim De Lesseps in Ismaelia, it was clear this would be a special experience. The hotel is a stunning boutique property that takes you on a journey back in time. As we entered the lobby, we were transported to another era; everything felt ancient yet meticulously preserved. The service we received was truly exceptional. The reception manager, Mr. Mohammed Ismail, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. This level of friendliness extended to every single member of the staff, from the gate guard and the bellboy to the housekeeping team and the restaurant staff. Everyone was helpful and genuinely friendly, making us feel completely at home. The hotel itself is a beautiful blend of history and comfort. It's divided into two buildings: the main house, which was once the home of Ferdinand de Lesseps, and the extension building where the engineers used to stay. Our room was located in the extension building and was very spacious, with a large closet and a clean, well-appointed bathroom. Everywhere we went, the attention to cleanliness was impressive. Despite having only six tables, the on-site restaurant was a highlight. The food was excellent; we tried the fish and pasta, while others in our party enjoyed the burgers and more pasta. The breakfast was equally fantastic, with a choice between a delicious American or Oriental spread. We were also delighted to discover that breakfast could be served directly in our room. We also enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool. It was nice, clean, and a great place to relax, though we did note there was no lifeguard on duty. The pool closes at 8 PM, so be sure to plan your swim accordingly. For those looking to explore the area, the Suez Canal Museum is a must-see and conveniently located right next to the hotel. Maison Maxim De Lesseps offers a unique and memorable stay, combining historical charm with outstanding hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ismaelia.

My stay at Maison Maxim De Lesseps was truly a unique and magical experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt transported into a world of rich history and timeless elegance. The building itself is a masterpiece, full of heritage and charm that adds incredible depth to the atmosphere. The ambience was absolutely enchanting, blending serene nature with classic, tasteful architecture. Every corner of the property exudes character, creating a peaceful yet inspiring environment. The service was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and gracious welcome at the reception to the consistently professional and courteous staff, everyone I encountered was incredibly kind, respectful, and attentive—genuinely dedicated to making guests feel special and at home. This place is more than just a hotel; it’s an immersive journey into beauty, history, and hospitality at its finest. I left with unforgettable memories and the feeling that I had just experienced something truly rare. Hesham Ashour

From the very beginning, everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival at Maison Maxim De Lesseps. Check-in was smooth and efficient — we were in our room within 10 minutes! The room itself was cozy and comfortable, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was served right on time and was absolutely delicious — a great way to start the day. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. A huge thank you to the whole team for making our short stay such a memorable one. Starting from our reservation with Mr. Mohamed Ismail and Mr. Ahmed till the moment we checked out. l will definitely be back!

The stay was wonderful! Beautiful and kind staff! Super helpful and willing to do absolutely everything for you to have a wonderful stay! |Breakfast was super high quality and Mr. Mahmoud and his staff went above and beyond to make sure we were full and satisfied! We initially booked one night in this hotel to discover Ismailia but ended up extending 1 more night thanks to the awesome hospitality of the people here! They really make you feel at home! Highly recommend 🥰 |Also can’t emphasize enough how beautiful the hotel looks! The rooms, cleanness, decorations, the history behind it and how relaxing it is! It’s like staying in a history museum (technically it actually is one!) We enjoyed every second of our stay! Will definitely...
