We are a couple of French and we just went back 10 days ago from Moevenpick El Quseir where we stayed (room 1209) for a week. It was our fifth stay after and we found it to be even better than last time in april 2023. We love this resort where we can relax and enjoy peace and the beautiful nature and where the service is exceptional . It is true we have found a second home. We already booked for our next stay in april 2025 J Rooms The rooms are nice, air-conditioned and big enough. Our room was a new renovated room and this renovation is a real success : design , tasty decoration and very bright. Also event the surface of the room remained the same , the room seems larger ! The ergonomy is great and the material were perfectly chosen and it is very convenient .We liked too the new eco friendly water bottles as well as the shampoo/sdoaps from Natural remedies ;) Security The hotel is vey safe with security guards at the main entrance and also ecurity posts at the beach-side hotel entrances. We felt safe and very well looked after here. Also scurity is a key point in the resort with the lifeguards on the beach that are very professionnel attentive for the security of the swimmers … same for the lifegards at the swimming pools. Moreover all the lifeguards are very friendly

Site The site is magnificent, the hotel beach is well organised and equipped witrh a safe acces to the crystal-clear waters. You can see vibrant coral reefs, reefs and fishes on the housereef The resort consists of several groups of rooms/houses built like a nubian village (dome roof, natural stone, arched windows) and divided into several groups. The entire complex is spacious and very well maintained. Diving center We are making diving and snorkeling. It is possible to go with the divers on certain sites with a snorkel guide … very nice and the snorkel guide was great . The diving center (renowned « Extradivers » ) is managed and run professionally The security is very important, all the staff is attentive and helpful and very friendly . There, too there is a high level of service Service/staff The service provided is exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to our confort and well being. They are extremely professional and customer-oriented on all sectors : They are smiling and are very attentive . The staff noticed I had a birthday during our stay and gave me a beautiful signed birthday card together wirh a special bed decoration

We had the opportunity to meet many nice people working in the resort but we particularly appreciated (again !) the great professionalism and friendliness in all circumstances of Mostapha at the beach . Also Sair Ramadan who took care of our room was particularly efficient and helpful. At the restaurant we appreciated so much the service and kindness of Ghada and Amhed G (thanks to him to help me in my arabic language learning J) . Special congratulations too to Ayman the cook in charge of eggs/omelette at breakfast : so talented and friendly ! At the spoa Reda was very nice and we appreciated the exchanges with the person in charge of spa/massage booking. We would like to thank all the people, we met because they made all their best to make our stay so memorable.

The management of the resort with Alec de View as manager is excellent because they are very concerned by staff management, are extremely client oriented (and also so sustainability oriented) and that may explain this high level of service. We appreciated also the « repeater » cocktail and meeting the managers was a rewarding experience .

Restaurants / bars The hotel has four restaurants : A buffet restaurant, a beach bar, an Italian restaurant and the Seagul "gourmet restaurant", The food is very good and varied. … We are French so we are particularly demanding! We loved also the coktails and the ambiance of the bar « Top of the Rock » with a breathtaking view.

Spa The spa is beautiful. We experienced massage and...

It was already our 5th visit to this hotel. For the first time with a one -year -old daughter. Another satisfying stay from the first moment of crossing the hotel gates. Cordial greeting, he will get peace quickly, concern for every detail of our stay. Everything was 10 out of 10. The entire hotel team deserves appreciation. Our daughter loved the staff and the staff probably me. Our daughter's satisfaction and smile every day, in each part of the hotel, hook and play with staff, whether a restaurant, bar, reception or others, gives us full joy that everyone in the hotel tried to make our daughter's vacation as well as our hotel at the highest level. Great waiters. Who deserve recognition. Our daughter liked everyone very much in particular the lady who stood at the entrance to the main restaurant and welcomed the guests. Our daughter was delighted with her. It was our next vacation with my daughter but the first on which we used the service of a hotel babysitter. Hotel babysitter Sara is a beloved person. Our daughter wanted to play with her all the time. As soon as I saw, the smile did not leave her face. This shows that this is a woman by vocation and our daughter can show emotions to people who like and wants to be with them. Eating very good. In the All Inclusive offer in other hotels there is sterile food, tasteless and in Movenpick everything was well seasoned, each dish had its unit taste. Food 10na10. Despite the renovation of the second pool and the second Ala Carte restaurant, there was no shortage of places at the pool or beach. It was a pity that that part was turned off because of the renovation, but the other attractions and staff took care that we did not run out of anything. It seems to me that there could be more sports activities. I really like volleyball, the games could be more often. I know that the hotel is not intended for children, but in my opinion it would be worth thinking about creating a descent, ramps on the beach. Unfortunately, but it is burdensome to go and go with a child in a wheelchair after such a large number of stairs with a large slope. There is a calm area where you could think about creating such a congress so that you can go to the beach freely with a pram. . It seems to me that also in such a prestigious hotel, an offer of alcohol, cocktails, freshly squeezed beverages should be more widely available in the offer of the All Inclusive or All Inclusive Special Package. Unfortunately, in the cards a very large part of drinks or drinks or original alcohols is not only available for a paid and at fairly high prices. It seems to me that the offer could be slightly expanded. It seems to us that one could expand the number of attractions that would take place in the amphitheater. The more that the amphitheater is near the bar so it could be combined with cool events. Dancing Derwisz, live music would introduce an additional atmosphere. Or other events that could take place there and not just at the beach bar. Not some long events but the variety I think it would affect the hotel's opinions even more positively We were in the hotel for the 5th time so it shows that we like to go back there. We respect peace and silence in the hotel. Together with the fiancée, we perform a competition that causes our body to chase away, which is why it is important for us to respect the rest of every tourist in this hotel. We find it here. We see that the hotel is developing and trying to be better and better. Our daughter also liked this place and we will come back with her 100%, knowing that she will be satisfied. We recommend this hotel for...

This was the worst place we stayed in Egypt because of the problems at the hotel. First, the room was too hot. We were in a family suite with two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had no windows, only a door to the patio. Egypt in January is cool but there were no windows to open in our bedroom and you can’t sleep with the door wide open. We spent hours trying to get them to fix the AC. We were told that Americans like it cooler than their more frequent European guests, thus making us the problem. The room would cool down to 21 or 22 which was fine but then go back up to 23 or 24 which was too hot. They finally fixed it the third night but this was after a lot of hassle on our part. Second, the dining situation was problematic. We did bed and breakfast (not full board) and were told we did not need reservations at the restaurants. Every single time we went to a restaurant they told us that we needed a reservation but that they would seat us anyways. Annoying, to say the least. They post vegan menus online but apparently you have to order it 24 hours ahead of time. Which they don’t tell you online. And no one seemed to know the prices of anything on the vegan menu. I wasted another 1.5 hours ordering vegan dishes for our dinner the next night. We selected this hotel because some in our family are vegetarian. Given the limited vegetarian options on the restaurant menus, and the difficulties with ordering from the vegan menu, I would not recommend this place for vegetarians. They also add 12% service charge and 15% tax to all food and beverages, including snacks in the room. Which makes the restaurants expensive for Egypt and the food is just OK. Third, as noted by other reviewers, there are problems with wait staff not responding to female guests. Twice at breakfast, I was in the omelette line first, but the chef took my order last. He addressed the men before me even though they arrived after me. Didn’t even ask who was there first and automatically defaulted to serving the men first. It was also difficult to get coffee at my table when I was there alone without my husband. I have been working in Northern Africa and this subtle sexism is common throughout. But this is a global hotel chain with a primarily international clientele. I would expect the staff to be better trained to consciously watch out for this. Finally, some facilities could use an upgrade. For example, drawers were broken in the room, gym mats were old and dirty, and the yoga center appears to be permanently closed. They also charge extra for all recreational activities such as use of the tennis courts. Which is unusual since many resorts let you use the tennis courts for free. Filtered water was another issue. It was free in your room and at the gym but they would charge if you ordered water at breakfast or dinner. The rooms were not cheap so it was annoying to be charged extra for all these minor things. We did not experience this at other hotels in Egypt, BTW. The setting and grounds are beautiful and they appear to be sincere in their sustainability efforts, which I appreciated. There was no plastic anywhere and the coral reef was in great shape. They were keeping people off the corals and taking care of the marine ecosystem. But the resort caters primarily to European tourists on package tours with full room and board (all inclusive). Since we didn't fall into this category and experienced hassle, we did not enjoy our...

Another Perfect Stay at Mövenpick El Quseir – Our Home Away from Home This was our third time staying at Mövenpick Resort El Quseir, and this time we spent 14 wonderful days there. As always, everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We immediately felt like we had returned to our friends — the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, and every single staff member was genuinely kind and friendly. What we truly love about this place is the sense of being part of one big family. There’s a deep mutual respect between guests and staff that makes the entire experience feel special and sincere. We stayed in block 16, and our room was beautiful — nothing was missing, and we had absolutely nothing to complain about. A special thank you goes to the lovely gentleman who took care of our room (unfortunately, I don’t remember his name) — he was always so thorough and thoughtful in his work. The food at the restaurant was, as always, absolutely delicious. The variety is incredible — I could spend all day there and still not manage to try everything available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There’s truly something for everyone. The service is phenomenal, and we want to give our biggest thanks to Ashraf and Abass, who always make us feel right at home. One lovely surprise during this visit was the new, stunning swimming pool — it makes a huge impression! Everything around it is beautifully maintained, and we want to thank the amazing Mustafa, who takes great care of the area and makes sure everything runs smoothly. The beach is beautiful and always perfectly maintained. There are always enough sunbeds available, and there’s no need (or reason) to reserve them with towels — and we love that this respectful approach is naturally followed by all guests. The beach vibe is managed by the irreplaceable and fun Shazly, who keeps things organized and always brings a smile. Thank you! At the beach bar, Gaber is in charge — and he’s fantastic. Thank you for your hospitality and for always making sure we had everything we needed. One of the main reasons we choose this hotel is for diving, and we cannot express enough how amazing the dive center team is. The local crew creates a fantastic atmosphere, and they’re incredible guides. The jetty team is always helpful, and nothing is ever a problem. Thanks to them, I fulfilled a dream and finally met a turtle underwater — I am so grateful! We also really appreciate that the hotel stays peaceful — no loud music, no intrusive animations — just calm, quiet, and relaxation. A very special highlight is the musical duo of Tarek and Ibrahim, two very talented gentlemen who perform live music every evening in different spots around the resort. Their performances are a real treat — if you’re looking for music and entertainment, we highly recommend spending your evenings enjoying their beautiful arrangements. And last but certainly not least, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the amazing Guest Relations Managers — Izabela and Miriam — who took such great care in making sure all guests had a comfortable and pleasant stay. For them, nothing is impossible. We deeply appreciate their dedication, warmth, and attention to every detail. Thank you so much! Mövenpick El Quseir is a magical place that we will always return to with joy. Thank you to the entire team for making every stay feel so special. See you very soon!

We never visit the same hotel twice but for this one we decided to make an exception. This is our 2nd stay (8 months apart) and we already booked our 3rd at Mövenpick El-Quseir. This speaks volumes about how much we enjoy our time here. The resort is located directly on the wonderful Quadim bay, between sandy mountains and the deepest blue seas. The resort blends in with the surrounding nature due to its construction in the Nubian style and it includes about 250 rooms distributed in a group of stone-clad houses with high vaulted ceilings in atmospheric style. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were greeted with a nice hibiscus cold tea and were invited to have breakfast till the room is ready (we arrived a lot earlier than we were supposed to). Check in was fast and smooth thanks to Mohamed from the hotel’s front office. The room is ample and spotless and it has absolutely anything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed and electricity plug next to each bedside so you don’t have to worry about charging your phone, but the bedding desperately needs an upgrade as sheets, pillows and duvet cover definitely show signs of wear and felt harsh on the skin. There is a mini bar in the room but take notice that beverages come with an extra charge. Bathroom is equipped with a nice hot shower cabinet, hairdryer, fluffy towels, toiletries and a huge mirror (and a small magnifying mirror). Housekeeping was impeccable, everyday room was cleaned, bed made, towels changed, two small water bottles, toiletries and tea/coffee were replenished. I really liked that they changed their pool towels system, so now we can use cards to get the towels directly at the pool. The old system of leaving the towels at the room was not very convenient. Breakfast was delicious with a very fine quality but after the 3rd day it became repetitive. The dinner was the best we had in a hotel in Egypt. It’s not the average items you normally find at all inclusive hotels, but the buffet rather had many tasty offerings and a different theme every night, we particularly enjoyed the international night. Ice cream was only available on Sundays though and it was Nestlé not Movenpick’s, I hope they change that! Unfortunately, we weren’t very fond of their desserts menu and felt they lacked quality and creativity. The hotel follows the half-board international standards, that means beverages (even water) at dinner are against extra charge. If you book half-board or AI you will get two vouchers per stay to try Al Fresco and Seagull restaurants, but you need to reserve each visit in advance. Seagull was perfect in every aspect specially staff, they were all delightful. Unluckily, dinner at Al Fresco was average at best and the chairs were super uncomfortable that we didn’t enjoy our dinner and couldn’t wait till it was over. The beach and the house reef are one of the best in Egypt hands down! The water was refreshing but warm enough to make swimming enjoyable, scenery is beyond breathtaking and weather in September was AMAZING! What makes the place a paradise on earth is the staff. Every single one in the resort is polite, experienced, attentive, friendly and very professional. The whole resort is very well managed. In short words, Mövenpick El Quseir is a unique oasis of Egyptian charm and Swiss efficiency.

We booked all inclusive and expected that. But nearly everything was extra charged! Some examples which were Extra charged what should be absolute standard in 5 star hotel with all inclusive (Mövenpick Plus) added some pictures s proof for that) - fresh squeezed juice - milkshake - smoothy - salmon - shrimp - tuna - burrata - pizza fruti di mare -breaded veal - fruit platter - mövenpick ice cream - iced coffee frappe - Irish coffee - still water that is not from the own filter system (I did not trust that water as the taste and smell was was bad so I wanted another water which was available but extra charged?!?) - various cocktails which are made with local alcohol I was really shocked when I’ve been informed that I am not allowed to bring drinks from the bar to my room. As written above I did not trust the Britta filtered water for various reasons and wanted to bring soda water to my room as there was only 2x0.33l available in the mini bar in the room but they wanted to charge that extra when I bring it to my room. Seriously?! This is a joke! I will never book again all inclusive in a hotel from Accor group as this was the most disappointing trip I ever had. I am travelling a lot private and for job purposes and stay in hotels at least 10-20 times a year but something like this I never experienced so far. Bottle local wine is extra charged but if you order 10 glasses of the same wine it’s not extra charged?! That makes zero sense to me. The service in general was okay. Some were very good others not really but I don’t want to blame anyone. Just recomming to train some of them better. Food was okay but nothing special and the buffet was very small. Only one fish type on the whole 10 days ( The cheapest of the cheapest available fishes in that country) A standard barbecue buffet with a show was charged extra if you wanted to participate. The show and the barbecue were nothing special and served in every 5 star AI hotel I’ve been before for free. Hygiene: Me and partner we both had problems with our stomach. We’ve been in Egypt 6 times already and know exactly what we better shouldn’t eat but this time there seems that something else was wrong. Maybe the Water?! Good: The beach and the terrain in general is very nice and there would be a very high potential to become a very nice hotel. The rooms are small but really nice with modern equipment. The gym is very good and equipped very good! All in all I am really not happy with my stay in that hotel and won’t come again.
